Despite the bad reviews i must say the food here is fantastic. Been many times over the years and never had a bad meal and we visit many seaside towns
Not the friendliest staff and it was quiet but end result was still brilliant huge fish n chips. Proper peas too not like some who just blend garden peas.
We will go again and maybe get em to smile đ
These guys are absolute legends! We would never buy our fish and chips from anywhere else when we visit Cleethorpes.
Theyâve got such high standards when it comes to cleanliness, the staff always go over and above for you, but most importantly, the food is simply delicious.
Just look at the size of that! Weâve eaten in and taken away before, the service is super speedy and this place really has earnt its stripes as the jewel in Cleethorpesâ crown.
We visited Cleethorpes on 31-07-23, the warm welcome by the front staff was outstanding the same with the gentleman in the restaurant, it all made it up for the rainy day.
The young lady is an asset and her customer service can't be marked lower than 7*, thank you very much for the service and the welcome.
The restaurant was clean the food was hot and nice all in all 5*, we will return.

Eating in the adjoining Seaway restaurant comes with a surcharge, so if you don't mind take-away to eat outside, it's much cheaper.
Overall, it's all cooked in vegetable oil and i was told halal. Will definitely be visiting again!
Food was fantastic 38 pounds to feed four of us with drinks fish was very soft and tender to the mouth chips was soft and not hard and crunchy like some places I would definitely go again and the staff was very helpful thanks
I wasn't expecting much for 2.50 but the fish and chips were very good for the price. A decent sized fish and a reasonable amonut of chips. Just in front of Seaway there some park benches in a small park on the sea front where you can eat. Good value for money
Went in for dinner today with the kids. Was very impressed with the level of service and quality of food. Will definitely be going again.

Excellent fish and chips, best we've had in years
Went here when it started raining, pretty empty as its the day before bank holiday. We sat down and had to go up to the till to orderâ which I get, probably having understaffing issues or just sick of people walking out without being paid. Our food came out swiftly after ordering but our drinks came out in a can! I get it's a chippy but if I'm having a sit down meal it'd be nice to get it in a glass. Either way the fish was huge and it filled me up for the rest of the day. It was lovely and so was the curry sauce. Love coming here everytime I come here and it's not a day at cleethorpes without coming to seaway!
