Been here this evening with my friend emily for the Paul Humphrey's night! And I must say the food and service was absolutely top notch! The staff were so fab and accommodating, very down to earth lovely ladies! A real credit to a fantastic place! The food was brilliant! Haven't got a bad word to say! Paul Humphreys was amazing too! If you ever get the chance I would highly recommend the evening as a whole or even just a quick coffee with cake!! Very happy! Xx

Came in today after hearing about your vegan ice cream. With my little one having alot of allergies she has always had to miss out when it came to ice cream... today she didnt and had every last mouthful of her ice cream and was a tad upset when it was finished. You also made sure everything used to serve the ice cream was cleaned properly before using it. Thank you so much for providing a lovely place and ice cream for my littlest xx

We visited today for my hen party and it was lovely. Beautiful food and lovely atmosphere. The ladies were lovely with us and kindly catered for my vegan gluten free friend spot on. I'm sure we will be back for a visit especially for the yummy huge scones! Thanks again xx

The rolo cake I had was lovely, it was light and fluffy and tasty. The biggest piece of cake I think I’ve ever eaten I didn’t manage to finish it but it’s great value for money. I would definitely come again.

We booked a table at The Gingerbread House for my daughter's 7th birthday. It really was lovely and the girls adored having afternoon tea. The staff were incredibly helpful and when one of the little girls took poorly they handled it sensitively and swiftly. My husband and I also enjoyed the afternoon tea!! Would highly recommend xxxxx

We had afternoon tea yesterday and it was lovely. Ham salad sandwiches on fresh granery bread. Nice thick ham slices and homemade coleslaw and crisps then a lovely homemade scone with Cornish cream and jam and a slice of cake of our choice. We had to take the cake home we were so full. Will definitely be back.

Me and a friend ordered the afternoon tea at £10 pp. The choice was very good and everything tasted fresh, scones and cakes were delish. Staff very friendly and the place was spotlessly clean.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. They cater very well for vegans if given a day or twos notice. However we decided to go there for lunch last minute this week and they really made the effort to accommodate me. Thank you so much. They so make a great soya milk latte!

Took my Mum for Afternoon tea for a belated MOTHERS DAY pressie. Food was lovely & tasty with a huge teapot full of tea. We were both too full to eat our cake so got it to take home.

Great place to grab some wholesome food and drinks. A really relaxing place to visit. 18th Dec 2018: Craft fair on until 4pm. Great selection of hand crafted local products and a great selection of stocking fillers perfect for Christmas. Don't miss out. Would highly recommend this place to everyone.

Always good food and fantastic, friendly staff. The cakes are delicious, as are the fish and chips, too. The only 'downside' is that they are overwhelmed by their own success, so unless you pre-book, you cannot always get a table as it is so popular.

We have been to the Gingerbread House many times , always receive perfect punctual service the breakfasts with all other choices available are always so well presented & was noted how clean & tidy it is, well done & thank you . I brought a party of us as part of a walking group like unannounced as couldn't book an exact time , the young lady that attended to us , did so without question. Thank you again.

Everyone is very friendly and helpful at this tea shop that is shared with a small library. This all goes to make it a pleasant place to take a break from the world.
