Only popped in for a quick breakfast and it was great. The large breakfast with a portion of fried bried was great value for money, under £9 with a cup of tea. Food arrived really quickly and staff were friendly. Got a few takeaway drinks for the train station which is a few yards away.

Places like this are great, don't underestimate a greasy spoon. It's tidy and clean but nothing special the food is what you expect, it's a great hangover cure and full of calories deep fried and tasty is 50% of there menu and to me there is nothing wrong with that. Why pretend to be something your not. Food was excellent and exactly what I expected well price and served with a smile.... Banging

Went for breakfast with a group of friends and was ok. Food average, not much on plate but tasted ok. Other places in town more value for money but expected for beach cafe.

Amazing value full English breakfast. As always well cooked, tasty and served pretty quickly. Get here early, particularly Sunday morning as it's limited seating and very busy. Dog friendly.

Great service and food with friendly staff. Clean and tidy cafe that me and my uncle have been regularly stopping at before our long walks

I've previously said in other reviews of this cafe that it's been one of my go to cafes for over 30 years. Very friendly atmosphere and good home cooked food. It's dog friendly. Which is great if the dog is well behaved. The problem is not all dogs are. The last time I was I visited one particular dog barked the whole time during my meal. It's all very well being dog friendly but it also has to be people freindly. This visit I was almost sick. A guy feeding his dog from the table. Taking items from his plate, giving them to his dog then licking his fingers before picking up more food. If you choose to do this in your own home that's fine. But not in direct view of people eating their food. I found it disgusting and really put me off my food. This goes a bit beyond dog friendly in my opinion

I stayed in a guest house that didn't offer breakfast so I walked to the promenade and found Brown's Café. The staff members were friendly and efficient, delivering delicious, wholesome food a matter of minutes after ordering.
