I had a delightful meal at Ocean Fish Bar. The chips and nuggets were delicious, and the waffles with ice cream for dessert were a sweet ending. Lydia, our server, was exceptionally friendly and helpful, making the experience even more enjoyable.
Lovely restaurant with bar at the rear of the chip shop. Great service and better still fantastic fish and chips with a side. I chose curry sauce which was delicious and sweet with pieces of apple and sultanas. I should have rolled my fish over before taking the food photo !!
Stopped off for lunch today. Was very busy, but they managed to find us a table after a 5 minute wait. Ordered haddock and chips twice one in batter one poached. Quality is very good, but the portion is on the smaller side. At £10 each good value. Service from all staff excellent. Nice environment
Ocean Fish Bar is a great place to go for a delicious and affordable meal. The fish and chips are always fresh and crispy, and the sausage and chips are also very good. Went to try the jumbo haddock which was nice but somehow I had assumed bigger, But was enough very quick service even though we were a walk in on Friday night.
Atmosphere is good but it is hard to hear due to echo around room. Will go back but this time try skate wing which did look good
We turned up without an appointment, staff were great found us a both, food was excellent. The staff were amazing and even though it was busy they couldn't do enough for us.
Went for lunch today on a visit ,can't recommend it enough. Everything was excellent from the welcome to leaving. The service and quality of food was excellent. We had the ocean specials of cod and haddock and got a sweet and pot of tea a coke and bread and butter. Great price and certainly not sk
I have travelled around the UK and experienced different restaurants and I always check the ratings. The pier fish restaurant was my first choice. But then changed my mind and had lunch at the ocean fish bar.
I must congratulate the quality and service of your restaurant. Will definitely be visiting
Gorgeous food, service was a little slow but we can highly reccomend everything we had. Steak pie, fish and chips and the beetroot and brie tart, all delicious. The salads do not dissapoint ether and the puddings were equally as tasty. We will definately be back!
We had the set menu 'Ocean Special' and were very pleasantly surprised by the portion size and sweet choice.
Not overly crowded, for a Saturday teatime, and the staff were attentive and polite.
