Stopped on the way to Kendal and very glad we did. The place is bright and airy, very friendly staff and great food. Very few cafes have a genuine charcoal oven and you really get the flavour coming through. We had the Lamb Koftas with salad and flatbread and a gorgeous New England Chowder. Thoroughly recommend you stop by if you're in the area.

Just stopped by and myself and my partner have been blown away with how amazing the food was! We’re both vegetarian and dairy free so it was great that the menu have both of these options. The decor is awesome and the service is friendly and quick. Will definitely be stopping by again on our next trip past and recommending to family & friends. 5 stars!!

Stopped off here today with hubby for a drink and snack, What a beautiful clean airy accommodating cafe, Staff were really friendly I ordered a ham and cheese toasty ( must say the best I've ever tasted) while hubby had sausages on a baguette he also said it was very tasty and even though I was full possibly couldn't leave without having a Piece of Chocolate Brownie cake....De-licious! Wish I could award more than 5 stars deserves so many more. Will definitely be visiting again.

Came here with my wife as we wanted to take a stop after visiting Ribblehead Viaduct. Staff were very friendly. And, oh my god, the hot chocolates were heavenly (much much better than a Costa or a Starbucks) and the shortbread was delicious! 5*!

It is an excellent cafe in a beautiful location. Large car park with disabled access. The food and service were very good. A busy cafe with plenty of seating and takeaway options. Update: Our 2nd visit did not disappoint. We opted for the specials board with homemade giant sausage roll and brie and serrano ham on sourdough bread. The food is excellent, service with a smile and a great location.

Super friendly cafe, attentive service, tasty food, clean toilets and an amazing view - and very dog-friendly...the owner evening coming round with biscuits for them! Previous comments have mentioned that it was cold - but not for us, it was a very pleasant temperature.

This cafe is situated on the A65 between clapman and ingeton. It's situated in the middle of nowhere surrounded by a breathtaking sorounding natural landscape. The place is modern and seemed well patronized for a weekday bfast place. Parking was ample at least when we got there.

We stopped at the cafe for a coffee and scone. The coffee is really nice and the scone delicious. Could see some of the other meals coming out which looked very nice. The cafe itself is very light and airy, with plenty of tables. The kitchen is open and looked very clean. The staff were very friendly and service was quick. Would certainly call again.

Have the full Yorkshire breakfast. Good value, but would love to have a choice of eggs other than fried. Recommend ordering the additional has browns and sour dough toast.

My first visit to the Goat Gap Cafe - a half-way house fir meeting up with and old friend. It was very busy so obviously popular - service was great too. The menu was quite simple - pleasantly so - the sort of place you could imagine going back to on a regular basis. We were early for lunch and arrived as people were finishing breakfast - can definitely see myself visiting for a full English!

The best breakfast we had in a while! Very efficient service with a smile. Food followed shortly after our coffee was delivered to our table, which I must say, it was very tasty and I drunk my coffee black, as I didn't want to spoil the taste with milk. Regarding breakfast- everything was hot and nicely presented. You could taste quality in bacon and sausages. Tomatoes very hot and cooked through (something other places fail to deliver). I have to say that the cafe was almost full when we arrive, with people coming and going, which is nice to see considering location of the cafe. I highly recommend to pop in here for breakfast, lunch or just ever so delicious coffee and cake! Keep up good work, food quality and service as it doesn't go without beeing noticed!
