Really reasonable pricing at £6 for an all you can eat brunch. Nice thick bacon! Food was exceptional considering the low cost.
Staff went above and beyond they were fantastic. Really friendly and helpful.
My only little moan is I don't think the raised platter for the food is the best idea as I did knock this off and make a mess, however the staff cleaned it all up and brought more food immediately.
We've come here everyday of our holiday for dinner as it's amazing!
The food is delicious, the service is amazing and the staff are just superb!
Really good value for money as portion sizes are perfect.
My children are quite fussy eaters but they cleared their plates each time.
My only complaint is that you don't have a restaurant closer to my home 😭

Wow and wow again. My mum treated me for lunch for my birthday. We chose to try Charnallies as we both had never been before. Also my mum has a plant based diet and the vegan menu online looked great. Well it didn't disappoint. There are soo many places that only offer a vegan option but here there is a full vegan menu, starters, mains and desserts. The welcome we received already made us want to come back again and that was before we were seated. Our waitress was such a delight and made our lunch experience that extra special. The food was cooked in a timely manner, portion sizes were fantastic and tasted delicious. I can honestly say I had a lovely birthday celebrating at Charnallies. We will be back!!!

I would definitely recommend if visiting clacton on sea. It’s down the amusement road onto Clacton pier.
Staff all welcoming and friendly.
Food is wonderful, I’ve eaten here many times and never had a bad meal.
The breakfast on a Sunday is the best for a fiver for all you can eat.
Had a 'wiseguy waffle' and a drink. Lovely atmosphere. Very friendly and accommodating staff. I have twins and they moved tables to fit our double pram in next to our table.
We will definitely come back 🙂
I came here mostly to train and expose my dog to a new environment and for something to eat (for me). The staff kindly brought over water for my dog and were very interested in my beautiful German Shepherd but didn't swamp him as I explained he was a little nervous at first. He settled very well in there which shows how relaxed it is in there and the service was great, I had a veggie burger and chips which was very nice. Lovely staff and a nice vibe, highly recommend, especially if you're looking for somewhere dog friendly! 😁
Great food and friendly staff. They even let dogs in the bar part of the restaurant. Kipper recommends the sausages.

I’m Literally sitting at the table just finished our mains! 10 people in our group. Food was outstanding! All had something different and all came out together, food is 10/10 waitress was amazing. Order came out as ordered

Went here Sunday for the 1st time with visiting friends and sat outside ( I've lived here a few years not sure why I've waited so long to visit) We had a dog with us and was welcomed and was bought a bowl of water without us asking for any. Quick and very friendly service. All meals were excellent, Pizza and 2 pasta meals. Cocktails were a bargain and top notch 👍 Will definitely be visiting again. Thank you
Love this place. I've been here a few times now - they have a very good selection of vegetarian options, the vegitana pizza was delicious.
I attend with a non vegetarian, he gets the wings starter every time and his burger was impressive. The staff are very attentive and kind, and everything is served in a timely fashion. Their pina coladas are the best.
Only criticism so far is that I had their nachos starter and the guacamole was like the old el paso squeeze bottle kind of guac which you wouldnt expect for a £7 plate of nachos. Not enough to deter me from buying the nachos again, but id prefer a good guacamole.
The overall 'American diner' theme for the restaurant gives it a great vibe, and the art on the wall looks hand painted! very impressive.
Great breakfast, great Gluten Free breakfast!! £6 each... what's not to like.
Deffo back here again next time we're back in Clacton.
If you are anywhere near here you have to go,.the burgers are very good but so is everything else..the breakfast £6 per person platter ,Saturday and Sundays...and it unlimited and its really nice . The chocolate milkshakes are the best I've ever had..cocktails also 2 for £10 and made very nice .the staff are fantastic 👏 kids meals also great £6 for meal drink and dessert.
Although food and service was great I was charged twice on my bank statement. One for full price plus extra transaction for £5.60. I only used card machine once.
NOW RESOLVED. Cafe also owns kiosk outside which I did not know and we used it.
