Sailor boy is great. The fish and chips are the best we have ever had! The pub is a classic family pub and fairly prices. They also have a lovely amusements too. Best of all they are dog friendly too!
Great place for a cold beer, hot cuppa or a good range of freshly prepared dishes. Very handy location next to the beach and a carpark too.

Lovely pub, great atmosphere. Karaoke night with Jase the Face was brilliant, a very enjoyable evening. Welcoming staff and good service. If you're in the area make sure you visit!

Lovely friendly pub with always lots going on especially weekends and height of season. Kareokes on the green outside are great fun, and they also do evening entertainment inside. Bit dark and old inside, but dont be put off, still a lovely friendly local pub :) staff als
Had Sunday 3 course roast dinner the food was absolutely spot-on. Was served by Andy and Amanda who are very friendly and efficient. I’ll be definitely returning again.

Easter Monday in the pouring rain is definitely off-season, but this was still nice and tasty as an experience. Not top notch, but well priced for what it was. And significantly better thanwalking dogs on the beach in horizontal rain

Was absolutely delicious. We had the cod,plaice,scampi and chips. Very generous portion size. Very friendly owner and staff..Very good prices..Next visit to Clacton and we will return..many thanks..
The best roast dinner had for a while, home cooked, not frozen, vegetables cooked just right not slushy or too hard, meat tender n all in all was very nice.. Gets packed so recommend booking! Good service n hot food would def visit again.
