Wish I could give this place 6 stars. Beautiful ambiance, but the food is really the star of this show. Great value and fantastic food make this the best choice in the area.
-Mushroom burger - one of the best veggie burgers I've had in my life. Excellent texture, smoked gouda and a tasty onion chutney made this perfect.
-Bang bang cauliflower was awesome. Deep fried and a mayo type sauce, black sesame seeds.
-Tomato salad - the tomatoes were very fresh.
-Potato leek soup - also excellent
-Sourdough - perfect and steamy upon arrival
Oh - and only $30 each!
This is a stunning venue. We popped in for a drink and were wowed by it!!! Beautiful décor, lovely selection of drinks and a very welcoming chap behind the bar.
They even have a serve yourself wine station which is a first for me.
The area for events and weddings looked absolutely amazing.
We didn't have food here, but the menu looked very good and had a great range for both meat eaters and vegetarians.
We will be back that's for certain.
We had the best night at the Crown at Ampney Brook and will be back for more! A free bottle of prosecco as we are signed up to their newsletter was the perfect way to celebrate our birthdays. Maddie was prompt and non-intrusive, enabling us to enjoy our evening with flawless service and brilliant atmosphere. The food was sublime, perfectly seasoned and with combinations that just work. I would highly recommend the Crown at Ampney Brook to anyone looking for a brilliant night out with great atmosphere and fabulous food.

The food is delicious, outside space is stunning and the choice is beyond compare. Drinks menu can quench any thirst whilst enjoying the charm of the venue. Absolutely incredible
An excellent find and a brilliant venue. If you are looking for a great experience in the Cotswolds look no further. In the summer I am sure it will be even better with the outdoor facilities. Food was amazing

Booked their pod for a romantic meal with my wife. Have to say the scenery, the service and the food made it a evening to cherish for a long time.
The air-conditioned pod made sure the temperature was just right as we moved from day to night. The scenery and service was spot on, leaving us to enjoy our surroundings and the food is as always, fantastic.

Absolutely gorgeous meal from a really lovely menu...so many lovely options to choose from. This place has undergone extensive refurbishment and the food really lives up to its new image. Great atmosphere, smart and knowledgeable service staff, great food.
A charming clean village pub. The service was excellent, Mihaita was a friendly and attentive host. We had breakfast and dinner at The Crown, both didn’t fail to impress, the food was absolutely delicious, fresh and well presented. Definitely would visit again, one of our new favourite restaurants.
Excellent lunch with my wife at this nice establishment. Okay so the menu on offer is with premium prices but we could not fault the presentation or taste. Starter with main course and only water and soft drinks expect to pay £40/head + depending on meal choice. Portion size was adequate and the food was received hot. Staff were pleasant and friendly.
Amazing service with fresh and delicious seasonal pub food. We had our dog and our toddler and felt very welcome. Adrienne was our server and we couldn’t have asked for more attentive service. The space itself is beautiful and cozy. Highly recommend
Met up with an older couple here. Lovely welcome, nothing too much trouble. Excellent menu choices. Reasonable pricing. We sat outside to eat pudding; this was no problem. Lots of people in for Sunday lunch but service was prompt and always good.

Sitting outside by the brook, at The Crown for Sunday lunch. The cocktails and drinks list is extensive and well priced. The food was very good. Sunday roasts were excellent. The restaurant was busy, little more attention on the table would have been wonderful. Deserts bought by 2 members of staff but not cutlery. Other than this, would highly recommend, excellent value for money.
Visited for Sunday Lunch. Not sure a Sunday lunch needs to be made "fancy or overtly aesthetic". Quality of food is good, but one single quarter length of carrot and parsnip seems to err towards presentation versus ensuring you are nourished.
"Optional" service charge put on bill. Never understand this, is the food price not inclusive of staff wages? Just up the cost if you feel like they deserve a higher salary. If it's a tip just offer the option when you pay on card machine or to leave cash behind. Don't press-gang people into it.

A very posh pub, not a place I would normally visit, but was meeting up with family on the way to the concert and this was an ideal spot.
The website is a little confusing, stating that bookings for Sunday lunch are not available, which automatically makes you think it's on first come first served basis! Well, that's not true apparently. Please update your website to make it more clear.
As it was a Sunday, a very busy one, there were no tables available inside but we got seated outside which we did not mind on a lovely sunny day and in a great location with lovely view of a flowing little stream.
When eating outside, you have to go and order food at the bar, which is a little off-putting. Another off-putting thing is that you have to pay in advance. I can't remember last time I had to pay in advance in a restaurant and I eat out regularly.
Another thing is that I would like to see a detailed receipt of what we ordered, which I did not get...
Never-the-less, the food was really good, fresh and tasty. Staff attentive and friendly.
