My favourite place to visit. Great food and friendly staff. I'm a regular visitor as only live 5 miles away..Highly recommend

We had a fabulous meal, staff extremely friendly and helpful. My only gripe is that the salad I ordered had salad dressing all over it - it's a matter of choice I suppose, but I don't like salad dressing, I prefer to choose what I put on my salad. Other than that, I would highly recommend this restaurant/cafe.

A lovely restaurant on the Cotswold Airport. Always greeted by the friendly staff and, if you only want a cup of tea or a meal, it's great value. Best value breakfast I have ever had.

Great, simple food at reasonable prices. Service - friendly & attentive. Great location too. Would be even nicer on a summers afternoon out on the terrace.

Super cool place to eat your breakfast! You can watch the planes take off and land from up close. The food is really good and the staff is just lovely!

Great place in the Cotswolds. The arrivals board and outside viewing adds to the experience. Great food and looking forward to a repeat very soon. Under 12's breaky with 747 toast is a must! Cheers Mick

We didn't know you could stop and view Kemble, so this was such a pleasant surprise to find a well-kept 5* cafe with a licence and fantastic viewing area. We had a nice break from driving, and it was dog friendly as well. Thank you, we will definitely be going back

A lovely well appointed cafe overlooking Cotswold Airport (exRAF Kemble) near Cirencester, in Gloucestershire. Just off the A433 Cirencester to Tetbury road, the road to the AV8 cafe wends its way past old large curved roof hangers, housing a range of businesses, from document storage to salvaged parts. Parking beside a huge Boeing 747 that can be visited, the cafe is located beside a tiny red Folland Gnat, once used by the RAF Red Arrows when they were based here. A good range of food, cakes and hot & cold drinks means most people are catered for, whether visiting pilots or aviation enthusiasts. With seating inside and outside, and good parking close by, there is nearly always something to watch, with smaller single or dual engined, general aviation landing against the backdrop of large ex-commercial aircraft being either stored on the perimeter taxiways, or being slowly scrapped.

What a cool place to have food and drinks. My girls love it, especially on a clear morning.. there are planes taking off every 20-30 minutes or so. The lemon drizzle cake is yummy.

If you like planes, this is quite an interesting place. Lucky enough to see a Spitfire take off and land on the day we were there but generally just light aircraft/ helicopters in action

Wonderful cafe at an amazing airport. Staff really friendly and the food is good and prices very reasonable. If I lived locally I would be up here most weekends up here.

Whilst I have been coming to Kemble for years for flying training, I've never been to AV8 before. This time I was in to catch up with friends and the place is fantastic. Great view of the flight line, very good food selection with some nice allergen aware options. Despite being really busy, food was quick and the whole atmosphere is superb. A gem

AV8 is a lovely cafe / restaurant based at Cotswold airport. Indoor seating. Outside seating which is perfect for watching the planes landing and taking off. Reasonably priced. Excellent coffee. If you are visiting Cotswold airport then it’s a must for some light refreshment.

Fairly busy but my "Chinook Panini" (Ham & Cheese) was delivered to my outside table in 16 minutes which was fine.
