Lovely very clean cafe. The breakfast superb with perfect toast and not undercooked bacon like many other places. It has lots of different choices at varying prices.
The food is so good, the resturant is so neat and clean. Great environment. The shop owners are very nice and put great effort to cook the food.

Lovely friendly smiling lady welcomed us in. Got to be the cleanest place we been into, no marks or smudges on menus and tables all spotlessly clean. Had our coffee very quickly, and good coffee by the way. Our order a short time later we had Old Cafe Breakfast and an English Breakfast off the menu, freshly cooked. Very well presented and hot. The sausage and bacon where delicious.
We also had an extra coffee and a milkshake.
The menu isnt huge, but there is a good choice with vegetarian options, lunch, and light meals but is priced very reasonably.
Definitely worth a revisit and a real friendly hidden gem in Cirencester.

What an absolute gem of a place this is. Excellent food at a really good price. I just wish I didn't live 500 miles away from it. Well worth visiting if you are in the area.
Nice family feel cafe, if you want an English breakfast it's not commercialised service, you'll be served quickly and it's made just around the corner from the tables.
It has a retro style to it and it's not trying to be anything special, it just does the basics well.
One issue is that they only have dairy milk but that wasn't the end of the world.
We googled for a place to eat breakfast in Cirencester and this came up with a good review. No regrets for coming all the way from Swindon! Nice and clean. Staff were friendly. Food were cooked just right and were tasty. Fairly priced. My kids loved the milkshakes! My partner told me we will definitely going back!

Very lovely cafe! Welcoming staff, cozy atmosphere and super tasty food.
The only let down was the amount of mushrooms on the breakfast. 5 thin slices of a small mushroom was a little disappointing but for < £8 if you’re not bothered about the mushrooms you can’t go wrong, it was all delicious.
There was a very healthy portion of salmon on the eggs royale as well.
I definitely recommend this cafe but would probably give 4.5 if I could.

Came across this family run cafe last weekend, ate there both mornings, the breakfasts were lovely, service was great. Very friendly. Food was hot and well cooked. Very reasonably priced. All tables cleared and cleaned as soon as people left.
Wouldn't hesitate to go back if we were in the area.
Passing through the area and searching for a place for breakfast, The Old Cafe came up on our search and we are so glad it did! We were served a fabulous, freshly cooked breakfast by lovely staff/owners which we enjoyed in the pretty cafe. A quick visit to the loo before leaving and impressed with the cleanliness. It was spotless. If you're in the area, pop by as you won't be disappointed.

Searched on Google maps for a breakfast... walked around... saw the standard Costa and Nero... didn't want a just a pastry... could have got from the market just near to them... searched for a "breakfast and found this gem
