We had a lovely time. Good basic room, clean and warm. Very good food breakfast and evening meal. Freshly made sandwiches and lots of snacks. We were very privileged and included with a large group of ex hf leaders. What a great group of people who told us about the ethos of hf and certainly practic

Never done HF holiday before didn't know what to expect. Pleasantly surprised. Large room with super view, clean and everything worked. Packed lunch really good, entertainment each evening, very helpful staff and volunteers. Would return.

This place doesn't care about local people.

Warm welcome and excellent service. I was well catered for with vegan food.

Nothing was too much trouble for the hard working staff here. Good food, spotless rooms, great walks and evening entertainment. We all had such a good holiday

A great place for walkers, the food is very good, especially worth mentioning is the packed lunch, a decent bar and very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are a little dated but are kept imaculatly clean and tidy. Well worth a visit.

Excellent place to stay. Great views and walks. Friendly staff and excellent food. Apparently this is due for refurbishment soon. HF leaders are always approachable and amenable!

I enjoyed the holiday however the hotel was quite run down and the lodge I stayed in had a damp smell. The food options, for vegatarians, was very disappointing no where as good as last time. However the company was really nice and so was the scenery. Disappointing really
