My partner and I had a fantastic meal here last night. We opted for one of the set menus.
We started with mixed starters - fresh and tasty. The spring rolls and prawn toast were delicious.
Then came the main dishes... Thai chicken green curry, prawns with basil, beef with ginger and spring onions as well as noodles and steamed rice. Personally, I thought the curry was slightly runny, however it tasted amazingly delicate with a perfect amount of heat. The prawns were great and plentiful and the beef was cooked to perfection. All the vegetables in each of the dishes were still crunchy and fresh.
As each course came out, the staff were full of smiles and were very friendly.
Of course we were asked if we wanted dessert, of course we did! Banana fritters with ice cream... hot, sweet and gorgeous.
I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough!
Glamping Trip, a break from the City. Wanted a good hot meal, Sawaddee delivered and surpassed our expectations. The food was lovely, the setting is intimate and prices are value for money.
I had the Sawaddee fried rice and added extra chilli... Food was fresh, flavoursome and unforgettable.
Brilliant food , amazing authentic taste and value for money. Absolutely fantastic owners and a pleasant atmosphere to accompany them.
Really good quality food. Pretty authentic. Foodies will enjoy.
A little treasure of a place. If you are in the area I would recommend you go. Food was lovely and service was great 😃
They don't quite have the authentic ingredients but they do manage to give it a genuine Thai taste
Nice food but too many covers for a single host to manage.
Stayed in the town for a few days and were struggling to find a vegan take away. Messaged this restaurant on Facebook and they replied really fast and informed us they could make any of their dishes vegan as long as we specified. We had a green veg curry and a massaman curry with tofu (not on the menu, but they went out of their way to provide it. Food was really tasty, reasonably priced and the staff are incredibly friendly and kind
Highly recommended.
Thanks for a lovely meal 🙏
Party of 4 all ordering different starters and mains, all delicious. We felt the dishes were genuine Thai, not an anglicised version, authentic. We all enjoyed, thank you
Wonderfully cooked Thai food in the heart of Shropshire. Although it was a busy night and the staff was stretched to the max, they were really friendly and helpful. Would definitely visit again when in Church Stretton👍
Tasty food although the prawn toast was soggy and the satay chicken skewers a little dried out on the outside. Attentive service. I do, however, baulk at paying £2-50 for a cup of instant coffee.
The food is of exceptional quality, there is a lunchtime menu available but you can also order from the main menu. The staff are helpful and friendly. It is really worth a visit.
The food here is delicious! Having sampled most Thai restaurants locally, I genuinely think this serves the best Thai food I've tried outside of Thailand. The restaurant is small so booking is reccomended at weekends. You won't be disappointed if you order the panang curry! The owner and staff are really courteous and friendly.
Ate here for the first time last Friday. The food I had was amazing. Plus very helpful and friendly service. Don't know why it took me so long to visit. Will be back.
Great set menu for lunch! Authentic and very tasty dishes, particularly recommend the tempura veg.
