My family went for the first time this week since moving to the area from the other side of the country . The place is spotless . All the staff are very polite and the food is fantastic . A1 in my opinion . We have a young daughter and was pleased they provided high chairs and you can eat in at no extra cost . Plus there is baby changing and a toilet.This is one of the best chip shops I have been to and I have been to many ...�
We as a family of 6 eat regularly at Andy's Fish Bar and would highly recommend to anyone, food is always fresh and the staff are very welcoming and helpful, especially Tom who goes out of his way to accommodate our large family.

Whenever i've visited family in Gresley from Northants my big treat was always fish and chips from Andy's. Over the years the excellent quality has been consistent, the staff always friendly and welcoming and the taste of the food is sublime. I've now moved to Gresley and I was super excited (yes I know i'm sad thank-you LOL) when it dawned on me that I was moving close to Andy's fish bar. I haven't visited as often as i'd like as I don't drive and it's quite a faff getting the food home still warm. I just saw a mention of a delivery service (which I looked for when I first moved) so I will be investigating that and if correct I shall be a proper happy little bunny. Over the summer months i've brought a gaggle of grandchildren over for a 'chippies in the park' treat several times and the staffs patience and cheerful willingness to split portions so they've each got a bit of everything has been super helpful. Thank-you x

1st time customer. very impressed with the food, the service and the staff. I did not realise they stopped serving Gluten Free at 8pm and despite being later they heated up the fryer and supplied the most amazing Haddock, Chips and Mushy Peas. The portion size is unreal and the quality is exceptional. The Cherry on the Cake was Gluten Free malt vinegar which was a great surprise considering I have had to resort to Rice Wine Vinegar for the last couple of years. Definitely worthy of all the awards they have received and I will be back. Might try the Cod or Chicken next time.

Food is of exceptional quality will defiantly recommend to anyone. It's the little things that they do.
What to say about this chippy. I was told not to come here due to high prices and bad food but was I right not to listen. I had a fish and chips (both small) and the fish was cooked perfectly and the chips were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. My brother had a southern fried chicken burger with bbq sauce and salad and it was just amazing. The prices may be steep but it is definitely worth the price and would 100% come again. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was very welcoming. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area as this is the best chippy in swad.
We order from here pretty regularly and it's always been delivered on time and pipping hot! Portions are a decent size and the food has always been delicious 😋

Following a recent trip to Athens I wanted to recreate the Taste of Greece, especially (as the Sun has been shining) so I opted for the mixed chicken and pork souvlaki with Greek salad and tsatziki - delicious!
New girl on Order wrong not her fault. Lack of training order a treble burger mix got 3 beef burgers. Not complaining about the new girl she's gonna do her best but it's the lack of training that lets it down.

Best fish and chips I've ever had. Shop has professional interior and very clean. Very affordable prices too. Would come here again when I get the chance.
We have recently moved to the area and have been trying out different chip shops . This is the one for us , the chips are amazing and the fish batter is so thin and not thick and grease holding.
We really enjoyed our food, and won't go anywhere else from now on .

We are camping nearby and with a relatively new coeliac in the family we came here for tea following a search on the coeliac UK website. The gluten free fish and chips were lovely. The batter was significantly better than ones from other shops. The rest of us had the usual food (daren't say 'normal' as this is likely to offend) and it was really tasty. The fish has lots of flavour and the chips were lovely as well. The shop itself is inviting with a massive fish tank and the kids watched the tropical fish whilst waiting for tea. Staff were really friendly and it couldn't have been clearer which food was gluten free as it they bagged it separately. Big portions. We got 3 large chips for 4 people (2 adults and 2 kids who eat adult size portions) and it was too much. The 'small' GF meal was perfectly fine for an adult even though it was for a child, I wouldn't have been able to eat it all. It came to roughly 30 for the 5 of us which is what I would expect to pay for the food we had ordered and anywhere which sells GF food is always a winner in my book! GF food only available Mon, Tues and Wed though so be mindful of that if you plan on visiting. We would def visit this fish shop again. Thanks so much.

The best do I have ever hosted came when I asked Andy’s to cater my jubilee street party. Perfectly cooked, piping hot, a fab delivery driver, thank you Chris for making it happen.
Andys has had a refit and is very open. You can see that you are getting fresh cooked food from a clean kitchen. It has a great selection of meal deals and kebabs as well as your standard fish a chips.
Andys is worth a visit. I'm lucky it's just up the road from me.
Not only is this the best chip shop by for miles but the best food I have ever eaten from a chip shop in years. I was able to have a full gluten free fish n chip meal which was fabulous although i'm slightly annoyed that they have stopped doing gluten free over the weekend. However, the service is fast, the staff are professional and the shop is spotless. Great chips every time. Thank you.

I think is my new favourite plaice... Lol. Being gluten and dairy free means it's hard to find takeaway food but my friend said Andy's did gluten free fish and chips Monday to Wednesday. I raced over there and wasn't disappointed. Great service, fantastic food and an impressive fish tank to boot. I love it there 😊
Wow the food piping hot and the smell driving home. Good job not on passenger seat as I would of attacked it . Hahaha. Got home 20 mins later and perfect just needed a few mins in microwave. BANG ON...
I Might invest on one of those heat retension bags but Why .
