What's not to like... Decent local pint of ale, and freshly cooked food. Particularly a fan of a Thai fish and their Masaman curry was delicious, piping hot and large in size. Make sure that you park up and go in for some food. We had a Sunday roast that was plentiful and tasted great, but the desserts were fantastic!!!! Every one we had was homemade and beautifully presented. Our choice was Sticky Toffee pudding, a couple of Ice C
Really enjoyed our visit to the Teign House Inn. The front of house was being looked after by two young guys, two of the friendliest and most positive members of staff I’ve seen in a long time and nothing was too much trouble. Just absolutely wonderful great lady behind the bar helped us out greatly shall be going back for sure a wonderful little gem in the heart of Devon. Great for a few nights camping couldn't say a bad word about it at all just fabulous 😀 thank you for being our hero.
Good old pub right on the edge of Dartmoor. It has space for camping out the back and is on a bus route which is great for the start of end of a trip before you get to an area where you can wild camp (walkable to Lustleigh Cleave for those heading that way...)

Had an amazing meal at shipwrecked sea food which serve on a Wednesday evening outside teign House Inn . Excellent value for money and so much better than just normal fish and chips. Sell sustainable fish, so if you're happy to try something different you wont be disappointed.
Great pub, marvellous setting, lovely food. I'd recommend the beef rendang curry and the belly pork. With a couple of pints of otter!
The food here is always fabulous, very friendly staff and great beer, what more could you want?
