New look & great food. Tried out the new restaurant & all very impressive. Drinks menu is extensive and the quality of food is great. Good service & atmosphere, will def be back. We had Sunday lunch at the Cat & Fiddle on October 29th 2023. We had booked a table the day before which was good as the place was very busy on Sunday.

Reopens this week after a major refurb, new menu and different owners and we were one of the first customers. Modern, accessible, disabled loo, level access - lovely menu lots of choices and Poppy our server was lovely. Staff very attentive!
We had a lunchtime meal and to be honest we left feeling that the whole experience was ok. What was great was the decor and our waitress was lovely. Amazing looking place, comfortable and very classy. Real fire was a lovely touch. Downside was the food. Soup was lukewarm at best and had a real odd taste (butternut squash and cauliflower). Bread had been in the microwave so was lovely and soft... for about a minute, then it turned back into a roc

Beautiful interior, comfortable seating, fabulous outdoor and semi covered wicker seating area/decking/grass. Food delicious and well presented. Excellent table service, polite, friendly and efficient. A little more expensive but well worth a visit. Dog friendly.
