Great place for delicious quick lunch. I had BLT special sandwich (brown bread) and my husband had BLT special in brown baguette. Both delicious. We could not agree what option was better. I would say bread, my hubby would go for the baguette again. Both were really soft, full of chicken, bacon, avocado and juicy tomatoes with lettuce. Staff was very helpful and whole service swift. I asked to remove fat off the bacon and they even managed to do so. We had almond cookies… OMG, these are to die for. If you have a sweet tooth, try it. It doesn’t look appetising or welcoming, but don’t let it to put you off.
4stars only because there could be a bit more mayo in the baguette. It felt a bit dry. But some people could actually prefer it. And tables were left with dirty dishes on and they did not wipe our table down. It was a bit dirty. Otherwise all good and we will definitely come back.
Mark Bennett could be the best baker on the South Coast. Real artisan continental style sourdough, baguettes, pastries, cakes and tarts. Just as one finds in Belgium, Netherlands and France. The coffee is not bad but it is so dependent on the barista your mileage may vary based on the location. The sandwiches and filled bagels are excellent. The staff are always upbeat and smiley. It's not cheap but you get what you pay for here and you'll be satisfied.

Not been here before. My friend really wanted to.. the food was lovely, very filling and large portions. Only wish there was aircon, there was a fan but it wasn't turned on, other than that it was lovely
Hubby said best hot sausage roll ever! The rolls we had were massive and full of great tasting ingredients of the best quality. We had to ask for a doggy bag as we couldn’t eat everything. Spotlessly clean with cheerful and enthusiastic staff. Will definitely visit again.
Visiting whilst on holiday and decided to try some things.the sausage rolls,pasties and quiches were amazing and the staff were also really good,smiling and friendly.if i return to the area in future i would most certainly return here.
Treated ourselves to a selection of cakes today - rocky road, millionaire’s shortbread, chocolate caramel cronut and an almond croissant- they were all incredible. Very happy this bakery has come to Christchurch - we’ll be back for more!

Popped in for my wifes 40th birthday lunch... the first day too of allowing dine in after lock down. Had the Christmas pasty which was really nice. This was my first visit, although I know my wife has been before enjoying especially the cronuts!. The staff were also very kind when they found out it was her birthday and generously gave a treat...
Really lovely patisserie with a great selection of cakes, coffee, breads and homemade sandwiches! Really happy there is now a PMB in Christchurch! Was very busy being their opening weekend so would suggest calling in and pre-ordering your food or drinks and then collecting. Staff are very friendly and welcoming and the cakes & coffee are delicious!

We only had tea and coffee, but the cakes looked nice. Plenty of space and friendly staff.
Second visit: Their little almond cakes are lovely. The coffee is good but it was a long time coming.
Popped in for a quick roll, pastry and a cup of tea today. Very tasty food, friendly staff and will be going back soon.

Just could'nt resist the Salted Caramel muffin and Chocolat Antoine once I went inside and clocked the gateaux on display...they tasted just as good as they looked too. Good service,delicious treats and congenial ambience whilst in the shop.
Fantastic service by the young lads in there. Very friendly welcoming and a little humour to go along side. Food was prepared perfectly and very snappy quick service.
I’m a stickler for proper coffee where the milk isn’t burnt to a crisp most places even arcado can’t get this basic thing right but here at mark Bennet the second they brought my coffee it was drinkable without burning my lips off. Well done guys keep it up me and my daughter will certainly be back again !
