First time eating here & I was very pleased. Value for money is spot on & this place actually knows how to cook bacon. I'll be coming back for sure.
Such a lovely little cafe. Went with a disabled resident and was served by Joe. They were so lovely and aided us in getting in and out and sitting at the table too. Such a friendly and caring person who took the time to help us despite being busy. Will absolutely be going back and recommending to others. Thank you so much Joe
We ordered from the friendly service and were given a slip of paper with a number where we could pick up the food for "take away". We waited less than 10 minutes, even though there were people in front of us and we were right in the middle of lunch time. The portions were large, the fish hot and crispy. Unfortunately, the fries were a bit mushy. But anyway, the price-performance ratio is OK.
Had a cream tea and strawberry waffle to share, lovely, the waffles looked amazing on other tables too
Great little restaurant. They sometimes close early if weather is overcast so get there before 3 p.m.

Friendly place, quiet in the winter so good for holding a conversation. Specialty hot chocolate comes loaded with squirty cream and marshmallows & probably quite a few calories but lovely as a special treat.
We were visiting Christchurch and wanted a brunch. The young man who served us was very attentive, and couldn't have been more helpful. The food was good, and came quickly. The toilets were clean and well stocked too. We will return if in the area.

We both had English breakfasts which were very good.
Only thing - we were sat outside and noticed there were a few cigarette butts on the ground that needed sweeping up.
We will visit again - better service and food than the Boathouse..
Monster cod and chips is the one to go for! Enough to share between 2! Also the icecream is really good! Lovely helpful staff. Outdoor seating can be nice in warm weather, but be warned, lots of hungry annoying seagulls.
