Have been coming here for many years and have never been disappointed, food always lovely and fresh and great service too. Would recommend.

Been using this chip shop for decades and the same couple have owned it for all that time. Cash only as some small businesses don’t like to pay credit/debit card fees which I fully understand, and there is a cash point next door in the CoOp! Seen some negative reviews here and all I can think of is

Nice fish and chips. Friendly. They give you bleeper so you can wait in your car or go to shops nearby whilst waiting.

For me the fish tastes really good the batter is just right and good chips. It's my preferred chippy in Christchurch.

Great value, well cooked food. All the traditional fish and chip shop fare. Covid compliant, one way entry / exit and full screens pager given to identify when order ready, all freshly cooked. Cash only a bit of a suprise in today's climate but very popular take away.

The food here is lovely. It's always freshly cooked, tasty and generous portions. The service is very friendly and the owners always have time for a little chat. Everyone I know loves this chippy.
