Really great sunday lunch, portion size spot on and lovely staff that looked after us.
Amazing food, friendly staff, very accommodating. I'm gluten intolerant and they made sure my food was as gluten free as possible. Amazing just amazing I love it.xx

Excellent venue for a private party (in the barn at the back). We bought our own catering (golden wedding party). The staff were amazing.
A friendly welcome here at this dog friendly Inn early Monday evening, drinks prices reasonable.
The interior has a good feel about it, good outside space front and rear although the front obviously gets traffic noise.
Friendly clientele also.

Visited this pub and the appearance of the pub actually drew us in, it looked lovely! The food was delicious, and the staff were friendly, gave our 2 dogs biscuits. Will definitely return.
Booked a table to watch the F1. Very accommodating to all our requests, moved table, F1 on our own screen with volume up. Food was nice, even grabbed me some extra Mayo. Roast looked nice. Fair pricing. Good couple of hours spent there

My family and I often visit the George as it’s our local. Today we had our first bottomless brunch, to watch the women’s football final. What can I say, absolutely amazing, the menu choice was extensive and we all choose something of the breakfast menu as it was 11am. The food was beautifully cooked and hot and a good portion. The drinks choice was good, and we definitely got more than our money’s worth. We had a fantastic waitress (Vicky) brilliant service. Can’t recommend this amazing pub enough.
We was on holiday and loved this pub so much, we went in every night we was there, wish this was my local, such a welcoming atmosphere, great food reasonable prices, very dog friendly and the staff was great too , thankyou for making our holiday extra special xx
Absolutely brilliant morning watching the women's world final. The drinks were flowing, the food was fantastic and the staff were so attentive to our large family. Vicky was so wonderful and we can't thank her enough. We absolutely love coming to the George and would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for atmosphere and good service.
I was served by bobby and he got me my drink as fast as he could and moved onto the next customer straight away. He seems really hard working and like he enjoys working there. Its a really nice environment and the food is great! Really recommend!

What a great place. The staff were really friendly. We sat down, looked at the menu and there didn't seem to be a kids menu. (Stupidly I didn't ask at the bar) but there were plenty of things our little one would eat. I ordered from the welcoming lady behind the bar who was really nice. Then a guy came over and asked if we'd ordered as they had kids menus inside. (They blow away outside) he was really nice but we told him we were happy with the choice anyway. He then brought out a plate for our little one (as we'd ordered a few sides for her) and then he brought her food first so it had a chance to cool down. That's first rate customer care right there. On top of that, my wife left her phone on the table when we left. They tried chasing us down, but we'd gotten too far, but they kept it safe until we realised and collected it. So it's safe to say the staff are amazing. On top of that, the food was superb. My burger was tasty and juicy as well as the perfect size and the sides we ordered for the little one were so tasty, she polished them off! Something she very rarely does. Top marks, will definitely visit again and can highly recommend!
