My partner and I visit regularly, as we live only 20 mom walk away.
We had our second date here, and since several birthday meals, and casual just dropped in Friday evening meals. The food is always both beautifully presented and tastes devine.
Last night wwe walked down for a relaxing glass of wine, or two! Service was excellent, nothing is to much trouble, for any of the staff.
I have had the pleasure of having visited the spa twice, both birthday gifts, and the spa staff were very welcoming, polite and professional. The treatments excellent. Products leave your skin feeling silky smooth, and very relaxed.

My wife and I have just returned from an over night stay here with an offer called the "Sunday spa package". I have to say the staff and service were impeccable. So friendly and polite. Our evening meal was faultless and so tasty. We treated ourselves to breakfast in out bedroom which we both thoroughly enjoyed. Our only disappointment was the shower in room 107. Talk about weak... It was like standing underneath a drip. I'm not sure if it was faulty but I'm not going to mark it down as we had a lovely time and well worth the money..
We had an absolutely superb stay here at the Captain's Club Hotel and Spa - The hotel itself was delightful, with lovely river views from all rooms. The food was delicious and all staff were friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel if you're anywhere in the vicinity as a GREAT place to stay. Top notch..!! :)
What a fantastic hotel!!! Me and my husband stayed last night for his birthday in which they upgraded us to a suite, so lovely of them,all very welcoming and helpfull, nothing was too much trouble.we spent the afternoon in the spa relaxing and enjoying a bottle of wine, the ladies in there were lovely. We ate in the restaurant that evening off the 3 course set menu which was brillaint value for money, the waiter was very helpful and answered any questions we had about the food. Thank you so much for making our first stay with you so memorable we are looking foward to visiting again.

Wow, what can I say but wow. Absolutely beautiful hotel. Firstly we visited the spa and had the most warmest welcome, introduction and then total relax. We stayed at the hotel overnight so we had one treatment on Saturday and the other on Sunday. The facial was truly wonderful. The products smelt amazing and the results were fantastic. Then more chilling by the infinity pool and hydrotherapy pool and jacuzzi. Nothing was too much trouble, the spa ladies were so kind, caring and always put us first. Lunch in the club lounge was delicious. And the views..... breathtaking. Then to check in, which was super, fast, efficient and the lady took us right into our room, where she explained everything and then left us to it. We then headed back to the spa for more relaxation. Evening meal and prosecco cocktails were scrumptious.
The next day, breakfast, unbelievable choice, could have stayed there all day, back to spa for second treatment, divine full body massage!! The title says it all. We couldn’t fault a single thing on our stay and we will def be coming back.
Fabulous boutique hotel, very attentive staff, very large clean rooms overlooking the river Stour with huge wet room! Food was super, and even had a couple of hours in the spa! Only stayed 24 hours but will DEFINITELY go back! Highly recommend ��
A lovely birthday lunch for my mum. She was very impressed and even got a chocolate Happy birthday! A very well presented meal that was cooked with care for each person,so looked and tasted very good. Excellent surroundings and staff. I have been before and will be returning.
We held our afternoon tea wedding there yesterday and it was perfect. Cheryl arranged it all for us and it was lovely.
Food was amazing, staff very attentive & nothing was too much trouble.
Our suite was lovely and the champagne on ice was a lovely touch.

The food is fantastic even though we were served buffet style (which can sometimes be difficult to maintain quality, Captains club nailed it!) the whole three days. Delicious.
This is definitely the best conference venues (and I've stayed at a lot of them, my colleagues even more) I have ever stayed at and all the team were raving about it, desperate that we host here again!
Best thing of all.. I live locally so can come back anytime I like!!!

We like to visit the Captain'sc Club every time we come to Christchurch. We have had meals, afternoon tea, drinks and coffee. Always receive excellent service. See you again in August!
Amazing Hotel, room was perfect with an amazing view to wake up to.
Food in the restaurant was very good, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.
