I was lucky enough to win the meal for 2 Christmas comp, which was a 3 course meal and a bottle of wine . We went last night and I have to say one of the best meals we have had in a long time, the staff were very friendly , the manager came over and introduced himself and was very pleasant, the food tasted amazing and the portion sizes were very generous. We didn’t want the wine with the meal so they gave us a bottle to take home and also the drinks we had with the meal. At the end of the meal the manager came back over to ask how we liked it and shook our hands and congratulated us on our win. Made the whole experience special and we will definitely be going back. Can’t recommend enough for a nice atmosphere and amazing food .

In our opinion one of the best restaurants in Christchurch, it’s a great all rounder for our family, there is something for everybody’s taste. We were there on Easter Sunday for two birthday celebration meals. We had calamari, sea bass, chicken, steak, fish & chips and chicken burgers all cooked perfectly and very tasty. They also sell a great selection of drinks including a fantastic bottle of Malbec, Conker gin, beers etc, liquor coffees etc etc... Always treated extremely well by Kamal and his lovely friendly staff....thanks for a great evening. X A must visit 😃

We always have the best night at loch & quay. Great quality food and drink, great range and excellent service. The live music creates atmosphere while you're eating and we've not been there yet where it doesn't end up with people dancing and having great fun. Best place in Christchurch. Would recommend to everyone (but just leave us a seat!) :) X

Absolutely amazing food. The best sea food I've ever had and my fiancé who has never liked sea food is completely converted. I had the calamari and lobster and can't wait to go back

What a fabulous restaurant and outstanding service. We came today (Mother’s Day- table of 9) and the whole experience was fantastic. The service was amazing, nothing was too much trouble and the food was spot on. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and we will be visiting again sometime very soon. Thank you for a brilliant afternoon.

This was our second visit to the Loch & Quay in the last 18 months before seeing the Nathan Carter show at the Regent centre. Top quality food and fantastic service from the time we walked in until we left (and we hadn’t booked) Fish cake starter was amazing and very tasty- as was the chicken liver parfait. Fish and chips were to die for and a succulent lamb shank was enjoyed. 5 very happy ladies- 100 percent all round. Thank you.

This restaurant truly stands out with its exceptional Sunday roast, a culinary masterpiece that tantalizes the taste buds. Beyond that, their specials are equally remarkable, demanding the attention of any discerning food enthusiast. The staff's attentiveness and the inviting atmosphere create a dining experience that is nothing short of exceptional. Without a doubt, I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment for an unforgettable gastronomic journey.

What can I say, it was our first time visiting Christ church in Dorset, reservation at Loch &Quay was booked ahead of time. Overall we had a great time. A bit small, but the ambience and service were amazing. My Partner had the Tagliatelle Ariabiatta. It was very tasty. Although it was expected to be extra spicy, that wasn't the case. The beef burger was the best I've had. We will definitely be coming back.

Had a really lovely evening tonight. I ordered the Sri Lankan fish curry which was absolutely delicious! My partner ordered the fish linguine, both meals delicious! The service was excellent. While we were there a small party for a 50th birthday celebration we’re in and they played some music as they brought out the cake and the whole restaurant sang happy birthday. My only little gripe would be that the background music was a little too loud and the dessert menu was in my opinion overpriced ( we didn’t get one) otherwise a very enjoyable experience. Would definitely recommend the curry!

I have been to Loch & Quay twice since I moved here from London 3 months ago and each time the delightful waitress, yes only one, is attentive, charming and lovey. She is an asset to the establishment. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. I am so pleased I found this gem in Christchurch.

Really impressed with this restaurant! The place is beautifully decorated with modern touches, great lighting and wonderful Spanish guitar music playing in the background. All by itself make us feel really cosy. Food was excellent! Weekday dinning menu has good choice and was good value (we were 6!). 100% recommended!

This is the second time I have been to Loch & Quay for Sunday roast and can highly recommend the Lamb. My friend enjoyed the pork. The presentation, flavour of the food, table service and atmosphere were all excellent and added to the enjoyment of our day in Christchurch. Parking available at Wicks Lane car park.

Been here once before many years ago. It was fabulous then. Often walked past on a few occasions and always looked good. So I decided to book for my husband, our 7 Yr old and myself. Very helpful. Very welcoming. Kids menu was great and our food was outstanding. Great for a special occasion.

Friendly & efficient service. My fish 'n' chips were delicious, & the draught peroni went down a treat on such a hot day. The ladies toilet was one of the best I've visited. It was lovely to sit outside in the shade.

Took my partner on a lovely date.. From start to finish - everything was so very good. The staff, the owner was especially welcoming, the food (seafood sharer and fillet steak, best steak I’ve had for years!) I loved that they had Shanty seaweed botanical vodka on their menu. I highly recommend this wonderfully run restaurant! The ambience was perfect and atmosphere was the right level. 10/10. Too good to miss.

So good we ate there twice during our two night stay in Christchurch. We went to Loch & Quey Friday and Saturday night in mid October and every aspect was perfect. We are all very fussy eaters (especially with how our steaks are cooked) and yet each one of us left very, very happy. The steaks were excellent quality and cooked to perfection. The homemade onion rings were delicious and who would have thought that their side salad would be so tasty. The staff including the owner, manager and chefs made us feel like we were locals and regulars. They remembered us from the night before and gave us a free drink at the end of the night. The atmosphere was lively and friendly. Next time we go to Christchurch i just can't ever imagine ever eating anywhere else. Thank you.
