The Thomas Tripp - Christchurch - Photo album

Amazing, we have been here several times, and today the food was divine. we ordered the same dish as the costumo (we thought was the same) but in the end they changed the dish which is now even better, Before everything was fried, now is grilled what is better. we really enjoyed it and will come ba
If you are looking for a restaurant that hides itself in a pub... This isn't it. This is, in the best way, a good old traditional oub with great food. So whats the difference? By the time we arrived the pub had been busy all day - so the floor is a little sticky, the bar is a little messy, the staf
Wow what a lovely Roast Dinner! Hands down one of the best in Christchurch. Went for the beef which was cooked perfectly. The mix of veg on the plate was well thought of. All cooked well and tasted lovely. Couldn’t fault it. Look forward to returning.
It's been a long time since I have had Fish n Chips. Dave and his staff are absolutely the best. Great food, fine selection of beer and spirits, and an excellent example of an English pub. Will be back for more. Cheers!
I had a lovely lunch there! Portion of fish & chips was massive! Staff could not be nicer! Highly recommended. Great selection of beers and ciders too.
Friendly staff made us and our dog feel very welcome indoors on a rainy afternoon. The midweek lunchtime menu was well priced and offered a good selection. If you have haddock and chips, bring an appetite. I was driving so couldn't take advantage of the range of beers they had available.
Absolutely loved it, best roast in town (not including my mama's 😉) booked a table for Sunday lunch, very accommodating with a young toddler. So busy eating I forgot to take my regular pics but the portion sizes are enormous, food was cooked to perfection and the wait time was so little from orderin
Really loved this place & the food was to die for.. Best chicken burger & fries I've EVER had! We sat outside in the large seated area which was great, lots of lovely people & some very cute dogs. We went inside at 8pm for the open mic night, hosted by the fabulous Si Genaro, great music & atmospher
Left the pub stuffed good food & good ale, best IPA (Neck Oil) I’ve had for a long time. Definitely recommend.
Lovely food cooked outside and served by friendly staff.Really fab potatoes.
Always a great place! Staff really friendly - great atmosphere and good value for money. A pub for all seasons and all events
Went here for my birthday and the staff did everything I could expect to make my day special. The food was second to none. They were fast on my drink orders and made sure all the food arrived at the same time. Atmosphere was great. Will come back.
Haven’t tried the food yet but I love the atmosphere at Thomas Tripp and of course their team. Very accommodating for groups as well as single patrons.
Having live music is a rare treat indeed these days. The atmosphere was great and I enjoyed some real ales. It's also a really good looking old school boozer with a wide mix of age groups.
Absolutely love going to the Thomas Tripp. It's a lovely place, inside and out. The outside area is lovely, they have great bands here too. Always a friendly and warm welcome, and if you're sat outside, you end up chatting with people you don't know. That's how relaxing it is there. Highly recommend
Had a lovely Sunday lunch despite the outside oven not being on due to the poor weather. Very dog (and child) friendly and the beer, food and staff were amazing. I wouldn't be surprised if we visit every day during our week's stay in Christchurch!
I have been in this lovely pub for the first time. We had a warm fish platter and fish n chips... Haven't enjoyed food like this for looong time. Everything was absolutely divine! Charming staff and beautiful ambiance! Definitely coming back soon! Oh, did I mention the FOOD 😉🙂 Highly recommended!
