Lovely little pub with a great looking menu, we will be back.
Nice little pub, good beer and wine. Cracking food. I had the Ox cheek with veg, it was delicious
We really enjoyed our meal on Saturday evening, great choice of food and drinks at Pub prices . We will certainly be returning in the near future 5/5
Lovely food. Great, proper pub. Easy parking. Good selection of beers and wine
Excellent food and service as always. I am also always pleased with the choice of wine and beers on offer. Best to book a table as they are always busy.
My favourite pub in Chorleywood! Thank you for a lovely meal with great wine.
Great experience! Amazing food, cosy lounge, good wine, warm atmosphere. I'll be back soon ;)
Best pub in the world. Cosy lounge, warm fires, roast spuds on the bar and the landlord is a...."character"
Great pub. Very welcoming. Loved it! Nice ale and open fire.
Excellent in every way.
Been working down here for a number of weeks and this is by far the best pub food I have encountered here.
Claudia and Fliss are the most pleasant and hard working girls. Always attentive to who needs what.
Briefly met the landlord and he seems to be a pleasant and funny guy.
I will definitely return for more food and London Pride.
Absolutely lovely! Went with friends for a Christmas lunch, the food was perfect, and everyone made sure that we were very well looked after. A really great time was had by all. Would definitely recommend.
A good traditional pub, does not pretend to be anything else. Great beer selection, great atmosphere. Well worth a visit, I do every time I'm that way.
A wonderful, friendly independant country pub. The ale from the nearby Paradigm Brewery was like liquid gold
Beautiful place, good service and delicious food.
The only place in the world that does a better sticky toffee pudding than my Mum. There is no higher praise 👍
Lovely cosy local pub in the heart of Chorleywood.
A proper pub, no food, no pretentions. Friendly landlord.
Landlord and staff very welcoming and friendly. Excellent choice of wines and beers and interesting menus for lunch and dinner. One or two odd locals in on a Tuesday night but, overall, a really good old fashioned country pub atmosphere. If you are in the area, go there. You will not be disappointed!
Great host. He's very welcoming and friendly. Sissie the black labrador was also very friendly. Enjoyed our beers there. Nice selection. Its a pity that the lockdown in 2020 caused the kitchen to close.
