Never had a poor meal from here, only come once a year when visiting, the first night we go for steak pudding, chip and gravy the best. Can't wait till Thursday.

Wow, the food from this place is amazing. I was training for a marathon and I've been running here there and everywhere. One afternoon I could smell something really nice as I ran through this village and I thought right, remember this place... Well, marathon complete, so friday night was chippy tea night! There was a queue which is is always a good sign and the staff seemed to know many of the customers, also a good sign. When we got home the food was piping hot still and perfectly cooked. I can't recommend this place enough. It was an accidental discovery but one that I'm sticking with. A good chip shop is hard to find 😁 See you again soon.

Pie, chips and gravy was very nice. Improved over last few years based on my experience I would say. Great to see for a local chippy that's been here for decades.

Superb portion of fish, chips and peas tonight. Fish freshly cooked to order, served with crispy chips and proper mushy peas. Great service as always.
