Would defiantly recommend coming here. Friendly staff, outstanding food, brilliant portions & very well priced ! If you want home cooked food and not bought in rubbish then this is the place ! I had the meat lasagne which was beautiful! Served with garlic bread and salad The Mrs had the drunken pot which you can notice that the meat is slow cooked and very tender! This was served with mash, Yorkshire pudding and vegetables ! What an amazing time! This place is a must must must for everybody

Had my baby shower here! The staff and owner were wonderful and we were able to leave decorations, balloons and cakes the night before so staff could decorate the room ready for our arrival, the room looked beautiful! Thank you girls! Highly recommended x

This was the second year we ate Christmas Dinner on Christmas Day and yet again we had a fabulous meal. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was super, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for the staff who went above and beyond to help me as I had a badly broken ankle. A huge thank you to all the staff for a very enjoyable experience. I think it's safe to say this is my favourite pub restaurant and would highly recommend it to anyone.

We went for a meal about 4 weeks ago for my dad's 80th birthday. We enjoyed it so much that we returned for my birthday yesterday. The staff are friendly, kind and considerate. The food is excellent. We had a variety of food, from pizza to sirloin steak. I would recommend it all. Perhaps a few extra choices on dessert?

Great pub, friendly staff and dog friendly in the parlour. We are regular visiters to this pub, and with all my food allergies, they are only too happy to invent something I can eat - all you have to do is ask.

The food was tasty, plenty of it, plus very good value for the amount paid (£35) for a 3 course meal for 2 inc of a large wine and coke. Staff were very pleasant and attentive without being in your face. Would definitely recommend eating here.

Been saying we wanted to try this place for a long time. Finally got round to it and so glad we did. What an absolute treat.. lovely environment, nicely decorated with some quirky extras. Staff were fabulous and made you feel right at home. We were a bit hungry after being stuck in traffic for a while so ordered a few things. To start we ordered cheesy garlic bread, then 3 dishes from the small plates section We ordered: Teriyaki pork - lovely and tender knife slid through it like sliding through butter, really nice sauce. Pigs in blankets glazed in honey mustard - some of the nicest pigs in blankets I've eaten when out .. very move sausage and the bacon cooked to perfection not a burnt bit in sight Chicken dumplings - I'm not a fan of these but had to let the other half pick something, I must admit I did try one and to my surprise I bloody loved it ... It's definitely the best dumpling I've had. Mains: I had the bacon chop with fried eggs, chips and grilled tomato. Really good thick chop hardly any fat cooked well. Really enjoyed it. Other half had salmon wellington with seasonal veg. Pastry was lovely and melted in the mouth, salmon cooked nicely was still nice and moist Excellent food in gorgeous surroundings

Nice and cosy atmosphere, staff was great. Sad to say that the food left us wishing for more. I had the noodles which were quite bland, and was not impressed with the ingredients quality or taste. However my parents steak was lovely, well cooked and nicely presented.

1st time visiting, as we're moving into the area. Have to say the food was phenomenal and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately they had an issue with the cellar due to the weather but can't fault them for an act of God! In our book it just gives us another reason to visit again (which we were going to do anyway after the delight that was dinner) to try some of the local draft ales.

Wow - what a find! Fantastic food so beautifully presented in such a relaxed atmosphere. Superb quality and so refreshing to have difficulty choosing from such a varied menu. I never take photos of my food but my chocolate mousse dessert was to die for. Our family will definitely be back.
