We eat & drink here regularly and have never had a bad experience. The food is always to die for, staff excellent, we always get very well looked after and the general atmosphere is always comfortable and relaxing. I'd recommend it to anyone.
We hosted a baby shower at the restaurant today, the staff were very friendly and allowed us to put some decorations up. The service we received was excellent and the food was top notch. I would definitely recommend this place. Thanks for having us!
Belting food was had! Very impressed and shall be back. Highly recommend the ravioli della casa. Bit of heart and soul went into that recipe! Excellent accompaniments and it's firmly on the list of regular places to eat for Italian. �
Didn't have a booking and went for a meal at 5.30pm. Enjoyed the valentines menu. our daughter who is nine enjoyed the childrens menu. Nice bottle of house rose wine. I also enjoyed the Christmas menu when l was in a group of ten ladies. l will go again.
The food at Tiggis is wonderful. The quality of the steak I had was exceptional and cooked to perfection. It is great value for money as well. We come here regularly and avoid the cheaper options on Buckshaw because with early diner menu you get quality and are guaranteed to feel you have eaten superior food.

We have been to the restaurant a few times as a family and always enjoyed the experience. It has a 'family feel ' to the place which is partly because it is relatively small and partly because we always are served by the same staff. Everyone is attentive friendly and the food is freshly prepared and tasty. The portions are generous and we always end up bringing food home in cartons. Prices are comparable to most similar establishments so don't expect to get a cheap meal. Go to McD's for that. My wife and two adult sons love the cocktail menu.

Don’t usually do reviews but as we wandered back home after tonight’s meal, both my husband and I commented on how attention to detail and fab service can make or break a night out !
Couldn’t fault the attentive staff, the wine recommendations , the fab food and overall experience ... just nipped out on a Thursday for casual tea, but had the full 5 star Saturday night dining experience !

An excellent meal again, with the most attentive of staff (possibly helped by the fact that it was unusually quiet).
Took a couple of friends that had never been before, and both were impressed.

The staff were friendly, enthusiastic and polite. My wife had a bakewell martini which looked and tasted fantastic.
The food also looked as good as it tasted which was amazing and the kids menu was as my daughter said was "Awesome".
All round first impressions brilliant. Definitely returning and recommending to friends. Great job guys
We have been here twice. On a Saturday for dinner which was the beat dinner I had in Preston area on the whole trip. The next day, Sunday, we had a Sunday dinner. Maybe it was because we have been a little late, but my beef was a bit chewy. All the rest of the Sunday dinner was as perfect as Saturday's dinner. The service was fantastic and all the food was worth every penny. Whenever I will come back to visit my friends around that area, I will for sure come back.
Visited HOME for the first time with my daughter and my friend and her son. A lovely clean environment, friendly staff and delicious food. My daughter had the kids burger and ate every crumb! We were sat in the corner, the music was a little loud for us, we asked the waitress if it could be turned down slightly and they kindly accommodated. Loved it, would recommend and will be back again when we are over that way.
Had a wonderful evening here. Cocktails are fabulous and service was excellent. The food is interesting and delicious . I'm intolerant to quite a few ingredients so my choice was limited but they did have a lovely gluten free desert. I would say there is something for everyone here. We ate inside and then moved outside with heaters to continue our evening and sample a few more cocktails.

Incredible service yesterday (25/6/22) from the team at Home, on Buckshaw. McD Family tribute to an incredibly special man, one year on. We could not have asked to be looked after more. It was like your family owned a restaurant & they looked after you all day. Thankyou team Home, you made what could have been a tough day, a great family meal, 14 people all loving their food & drinks - from 86 years old to 14 teenager. That is some achievement xx

Beautiful restaurant. Dropped by for a drink with the kids after a family day out and was delighted with the choice.
Lovely IPA on draft and a really affordable Sauvignon Blanc for the Mrs. They have a barber cocktail and they even have my kids some candy floss from the cocktails. The hospitality here is top drawer. We had a side plate as a snack and it was delicious.

Great atmosphere, service was prompt, good food. One slight criticism is that my beef burger was slightly overdone, but overall very happy and will be back 🙂

Came for a birthday surprise meal for a friend. Service was great. Especially as there was about 50 of us. Really friendly staff and the food was delicious!
Best food I've had for years. The doughballs and foccacia starters were next level and the seared salmon main course with cous cous side order were both excellent. Desserts were very delicious too.
Drinks prices were a little on the expensive side but the whole experience was well worth the money.

Called in on a Friday for the first time for lunch, decided to have a selection of Tapas with whipped Feta to start and they didn't disappoint all the food was cooked perfectly and tasted superb, will deffo be back.
Fabulous little restaurant with great little plates on the lunch menu. Seasoned well and fairly priced for the food. We even ordered an extra dish.
Took my 94 year old mum for a coffee she has to us a walker we were shown to a table close to door and they a moved chair to give us a space for walker...very helpful
