It’s a great place to eat even if you just decide to drop in last minute they will always try to find you a table.
The staff were very helpful & food lovely. Dancing in the lounge bar is a great way to work all the food off. Thank you for a great night
Was lucky enough to discover this great new bar. Fantastic surroundings ultra stylish great atmosphere and brilliant variety of drinks what a gem of a place!
Amazing place. Nice bar staff, great cocktails really good night
Brilliant for an event, nice bar staff, spacious and had a great time.
Best Indian in Chorley! Lamb bhuna, rice and naan
Food was excellent, service was spot on will definitely be going back very soon. Couldn't ask for a better Indian as well. Highly recommend!!!
Excellent service and great food, love it here :)
Consistently High Standard. We have been coming to this restaurant for years on a regular basis. We are great lovers of Indian food and have eaten in pretty much all of the, "Gourmet Indian", restaurants in the North West. We keep coming back to the Blue Elephant for a number of reasons. The food is always of a very good standard and is obviously freshly made and well presented. There is a great selection of dishes on the menu to suit all tastes and the staff are always very friendly and attentive as well as being immaculately dressed. The surroundings are contemporary, welcoming and spotlessly clean. The Blue Elephant is not the cheapest Indian Restaurant around but it isn't the most expensive by any stretch of the imagination and pound for pound, the quality of both food and service that you will experience is well worth it. (If you want a cheap option, go mid week when they have a special menu with two courses for a tenner). In my personal opinion, this is a better restaurant and all round dining experience than both Bangla Fusion and Sagar Premier (both of which I like) which are the main competition in the area. Thoroughly recommend it. Try it. You won't be disappointed.
I have eaten regularly at this resteraunt for over 5 years and it has always managed to maintain it's high standards. The staff are attentive and the food us always freshly prepared and I have never had cause to complain. Having eaten in the curry houses of brick lane and the baltis of birmingham I would recommend the blue elephant to anyone looking for a tasty curry in this area.
Blue elephant, speaks volumes about Indian food. Food, fault less, many varied dishes for those with a weak palet. And of course those with a hot flame running throught us A great selection of hot and spicy mains, Staff, they do the establishment proud, calm under stress and always smiling!! For me 5 stars at 3 star prices Well done guys great night.
Foodie. The Blue Elephant has always been the best indian restaurant in the area. I have never had a bad meal & the takeaways are always good. The menu now appears to be a little on the expensive side but but I will continue to use it as the staff are always pleasant & its local. Rendezvous in Croston is the worst attempt at Indian food I have ever tried. Don't go there! No one else does!
Great food, as always. Staff little too keen and often in asking if we wanted extra drinks. Prices like everywhere have gone up, and no offers on when we visited (the early bird deal used to be excellent.....). Recommended place to eat
Pretty decent, my food was good my wife's needed more spice but was still decent. Poppadoms weren't the best but Naan bread was v good. Reasonable value.
I really enjoy coming here for meals; it’s quite a trek from where we live, otherwise we’d come here more often
It’s always deceptively busy, which is a great sign
The staff are really friendly, the food is great and there’s always a good atmosphere

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5\/5 stars) Thank you. This really is my happy place...
Very nice food, I can't complain! I found it a little tricky to determine how hot a curry was going to be from the menu. But thats if I had to nitpick.
Food excellent, atmosphere excellent, service excellent, will be going back again
This restaurant is amazing! The food is fantastic and if there's something you fancy and it's not on the menu, they're happy to prepare it for you. The service is second to none. Attentive but not constantly hovering which can be annoying. The atmosphere is perfect with the right volume of background music. The lighting is just right and the decor colours fit perfectly with the theme of the restaurant. We have now been to the Elephant several times as a couple and as a family and we've decided, having tried others in the area, that this is the best Indian restaurant by far.
Excellent that's the only words we need to describe this fine restaurant 10/10 .
Very good Indian restaurant. Food was excellent.
Amazing food could not fault anything the service is spot on.
We booked for Christmas dinner, 16:00 seating. We enjoyed our food as usual, but the atmosphere was ruined by people complaining about late service. If you have an issue, take it up with the manager, don't shout across the restaurant and verbally abuse the staff, exploiting a small business for free food.
Late decision for 4 of us to eat here. Got a 7pm table no problem. We all tried something different, I had the chicken Naga Naga with mushroom pliau rice. Superb. Really rich but packed with flavour, good sized portions too. Good unobtrusive service and a nice atmosphere. Will definitely be back to sample some of the signature dishes.
Came here for Christmas dinner, never been out for Christmas meal so wasn't sure what to expect. I had chicken korma with onion bhajis and garlic naan, it was lovely. I'd have again. Down side was partners traditional Christmas dinner, wasn't the best, not very much on the plate either.
First time I've visited the Elephant and won't be my last. Everything was excellent and absolutely loved the shami kebabs. Highly recommended
