Malthouse Farm Pub - Chorley - Photo album

Lovely atmospheric pub. Service was attentive while waitress Debs gave us time and space to catch up telling us to shout when we were ready. Debs- you were really helpful and mindful of our communication needs thank you! Chicken & Ham pie with veg and mash was nice... pastry maybe a bit too crispy
Lovely little find on a bike ride along the canal from Wigan. Superb, fast, and friendly service. Beautiful setting and the food and drinks were great. Will definitely be returning for a longer evening at this lovely pub.
My dad recommended this place to me we went for my birthday family meal yesterday. The staff were extremely welcoming and the manager did everything in her power to have the 12 of us sat as close together as physically possible. This was greatly appreciated. The dedicated member of staff was literal
Upon arriving the fireplaces were lit and there was such a warm inviting atmosphere, there are dogs allowed here so I immediately got to stroke a puppy so... Day made! Haha I was seated within a minute of entering. The food was delicious and well presented I especially loved the desserts and the sta
Food was utterly delicious. Couldn't fault it. Beef cheeks were totally gorgeous and my gammon with coke & whisky sauce was utterly YUM with chips cooked to perfection. Compliments to the chef. Service really quick and friendly. Bar area only is dog friendly. Doggy treats and water readily available
We booked for a family 60th birthday meal. On arrival the table was decorated along with a card which was a lovely touch. Our waitress Mariangela was faultless, very friendly and helpful. Everyone’s food was amazing and we all had a great time. We’ve been here before and the food is always excell
Lovely afternoon in the Malthouse, setting is lovely, decor is great lots of nice lighting. The food was excellent and served quickly. The sea food grill was lovely, and the gammon was. My only issue was the price of drinks Birra Moretti £6.25 plus a shandy from the same beer charged at the same pri
A lovely find of a pub! They managed to seat me last minute for a spot of light lunch despite having several bookings, it's a popular pub with the locals and for good reason. The food is fantastic and reasonably priced for the quality and serving size. The food is freshly prepared, and the chefs cl
Really nice place with a lovely ambience, service was great, our waiter Jensen was fantastic. Potatoes were a little bit dry, and could've done with a bit more gravy, but these are minor quibbles and we'd definitely come again. Would recommend!
Great food in a beautiful location, great in the summer with a beer garden right by the canal. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Highly recommend, especially the Sunday lunch.
Seriously picturesque. Never been before. Beautifully quiet location 2 mins from Junction 8 M61. Outside seating areas were 'taped off' which was a shame as we wanted to sit outside however...very nice inside, Sunday lunch time & was busy (should've reserved) but we managed to get in. Myself & Mrs
This is a really cool place on the banks of the river. It was our first time here, and I have to say I was impressed. The staff are friendly and helpful, always smiling, and nothing seemed too much trouble. You know when you go somewhere for a meal and it just is right the place the staff the food a
Delicious lunch. I chose the vegan flat bread and my husband had the steak baguette. I was asked if I was vegan (which I’m not), but I was given the option of how I wanted my chips cooked. Malthouse farm never disappoints the food is always spot on 😋👍
Lovely sunny walk along the canal tow path from Malt house farm towards Top lock then return. Finished off with a ice cold beers in the Malt house beer garden. Great pub restaurant.
First visit at lunchtime today enjoyed the experience so have booked again. I was taken back when I saw my bill that 2 halves of lemonade were £6.60. Food was good value consider today's costs but not the drinks and there is no tax on lemonade. Looking forward to next visit.
We visited for our Anniversary, The pub was busy due to the weather being sunny but this did not hamper the service whatsoever. Nice to see all ages enjoying the pub, from Children to adults (even dogs). Food service was prompt and the food quality was amazing. The staff were very friendly too.
Just here for a drink. Enjoying a glass of NZ sav in the sun. Lovely breeze and overlooking the canal. We would have felt more welcomed if the signage had pointed drinks only customers to the drinks only area rather than making us wait in a queue with eating customers to be turned around to drinks
