Lovely atmosphere.
Staff very friendly too.
Food was delicious.
Parking at door, and good for people with mobility problems, pushchairs etc.
Didn't get the daily housekeeping that we asked for on the form we had to fill in upon arrival & the beds were softer than we would have liked. The shower also had quite a bit of mould & the doors didn't shut properly.
The food though was very nice, plentiful & the staff were really very helpful & v
Excellent all round. Staff, food, accommodation, all great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was exquisite, really worth a visit. A little hidden gem.

I was not the only one who loved it. everyone I spoke to said how lovely the staff food and rooms were.
Nothing was too much trouble for any one of the wonderful staff.

Lovely pub in the quiet village of stakeford! Food was delicious and the staff were lovely. Nice to see this local pub thriving!
Booked a room for two people and two dogs. Allocated one of the lovely little bungalows to the rear of the car park. Spacious and super clean! We decided to have dinner which was amazing. Pub was extremely busy which is always a good sign and we weren't disappointed. Breakfast the following morning
Just had a lovely stay here with our 2 dogs, food was excellent, both the evening meal and breakfast, staff where amazing and the room was clean well equipped and a good size. Also nice and quiet the rooms are set slightly away from the pub so no noise.
Had a lovely meal here but I found the service very slow although the place didn’t appear to be over busy. The impression was that they needed more staff. Having said that we would definitely recommend the food.
An absolutely wonderful, dog friendly restaurant, the staff couldn't have been more pleasant, they serve real ale, and the food was to die for. Highly recommended.

Food is great here! I have recently eaten here 4-5 times and have yet to be disappointed. Bottomless brunch was great value, midweek lunch was fab- especially the cauliflower soup! Sunday lunches are gorgeous, and the staff are friendly! Would definitely recommend.
What a little gem of a pub. It has a warm atmosphere when entering and the bar/dining area is adequate.
A good selection of draught beers/lagers as well as bottle beers and lagers.
