Absolutely loved this Italian restaurant, I think now probably one of our favourite ones. The food was perfect! The service was amazing. We had a lovely lady looking after us who was very friendly and helpful. The homemade tiramisu was also one of the best we’ve ever had. 10/10 would recommend and we can’t wait to come back!
Fantastic meal at roots. It's really hard to find decent Italian food in the UK, but Roots absolutely nails it. The menu is varied without being bloated, and a lot of the ingredients are made in house (i.e. the pasta). Fried pizza dough to start was seriously good, the seafood linguine had a generous portion of quality seafood in, and the tiramisu was out this world. The house red was also surprisingly good for the price. I didn't have very high expectations and was totally blown away but how good it was. Can't wait to go back again and again!

Traditional Italian cuisine. The pizzas are very authentic and tasty! A tad expensive, but worth it. Only challenge is that someone will need to drive (or taxi) as it's slightly out of town

Always have a lovely meal at roots, service is great, the staff are friendly and welcoming. Reasonably priced, delicious food. The dessert menu has some different options, especially if you're a Nutella fan
Roots is a very friendly restaurant, staff are brilliant, very helpful if you cannot decide and take in your consideration.
I personally cannot fault this restaurant as I travel from North Hampshire just to eat their, they serve traditional Italian dishes which you cannot get anywhere else. I just wish it was closer to me.
What a gem! Had a fantastic meal last night - wonderful fresh food, quick and friendly service, great value too. We had food from nibbles, starters, pasta, main, and pizza sections between us, and all were perfect. Never seen the children eat so much either! Will definitely be back.
Great local Italian. Under new ownership went through complete makeover and its very nice looking. Food gets better with every take-away order. You must try the crispy Calamari. I can't wait for this Lockdown to be over so I can dine In again. Well done Roots.
