Probably the best "pub" lunch I've had. I say that with inverted commas because their menu is pretty niche and simple to choose from. Excellent quality food and fantastic setting on a lovely summer's day.

Absolutely beautiful aesthetic and extremely welcoming owners. Came out to say hello to our puppy with treats and took the time to speak to us. Lovely garden with some gorgeous fish. Can't wait to come back for the Sunday roast.

The garden is a lovely surprise and so are the magnificent fish ponds.Great wine, great deserts and coffee. Overall the kitchen produces good food. The landlord is very nice. Great place to go with dogs after a walk on the common.
Had dinner there the other night and had the filet steak and scallops. I am very happy with the food, and it is probably the best gastropub in the area after the decline of the Carpenters Arms in Sunninghill. Interestingly, they still cook their chips in beef dripping. Sandy and her team hosted our 2023 Cousins Reunion last Sunday. The organisation was very efficient, the food was beautifully prepared and served and the surrounding garden was a blaze of colour. Everyone had a great time. Thank you Red Lion - you even got the sun to shine!
What a 5* place this is! It was pretty full, but service was excellent, food lovely and quick. I have various allergies and was extremely well looked after. Great pub, lovely staff and super food. Thanks for a lovely lunch!
Outside area is a very relaxed space to be with lots of greenery, so that it feels open but not busy. Serving staff are very helpful. A very good selection of drinks.
What a hidden gem this place is. Owners have clearly gone to town on exterior and interior. Then there's the food! Scallops, steak, shared puddings...all to die for! If I get the chance, shall return.
We had a great meal last night for 6 and they really do look after your food allergies which is great just the one thing though I ordered the 2nd red on the list 2 bottles which was £29 but when looking at the receipt it was another red at £43 hard to see in the dimmed room but the food was a triump
An absolutely amazing 3 course lunch for two of us. Cannot beat the quality and the price. Definitely the best meal we have had in a restaurant for a long time. Great food, great service and a great price. Definitely the best around. Thoroughly recommended.

Classy setting.
Excellent pub, newly refurbished, very recently, to a very high standard. In a lovely, rural position. Very friendly pub with good quality ales and a variety of lagers. Excellent decor inside, very well done. Very much looking forward to having a meal here.
You could drive by this pub/restaurant thinking just another pub but that's a mistake - this is one of the best pub restaurants I've been to in the area. The food is excellent, the staff (Lisa) was super helpful/friendly, setting indoors or outdoors is excellent. Highly recommend it 🥂
