Busy pub and restaurant, tucked away from the main road and away from Chistlehurst High Street. Lots of blokes having a lunchtime and afternoon pint, plus lots of friends and families having Sunday lunch. Nice spacious garden seating area. Sunday roast was delicious. Friendly staff.
Amazing pub - you can tell the difference when the food is cooked with care and attention. The seafood board that we ordered was delicious and fresh. Definitely will revisit the pub when we are back to the area
We went for Sunday Lunch on the off chance as we hadn't booked a table. But we were accomodated in the bar area and had a nice meal of roast beef and roast lamb. The portions were good and the food was served nice and hot. Not sure if the meat was freshly carved, but the Service was good and will book next time we visit.
Lovely pub though very quiet for a Fri night but it was nice to be able to talk without having to shout which was a bonus. Great food and lovely staff. Will definitely go back.
Great venue. Food and drink a little more expensive than some other pubs in the area but overall if the weather is good it's a lovely place to sit out in the beer garden
Wonderful pub hidden from view, a real gem of an establishment. I've been going here for 40 years, ever since I worked here as a potman, collecting glasses, filling the ice buckets and emptying the ashtrays.
It has grown a lot since then. Now has a top notch chef delivering fantastic food.

Nice day, sat in the garden, a couple of beers, and a well presented burger and chips. Just good, simple food done well and served with a smile.

A nice pub in rural suburbia with an extensive menu to surely suit all tastes? Sat outside, enjoying a pint and a couple of starters (whitebait and deep-fried brie) after a long walk around the adjacent Scadbury Park. Pleasant, helpful staff, if perhaps inattentive on occasions - 7' to get served, and 15+' to lose any interest in whatever desert might have been on the menu. Would certainly go back there next time I am in the area.
Good quality traditional pub. Serving a decent pint of lager and nice food. Staff always pleasant and professional. Currently have a marquee in garden to help assist outside dining, pub is fully open now.
Normally parking not a problem.
We had birthday and baby gender reveal at their function room. All guests were happy with the foods and served by lovely staffs. Highly recommended 👍
Had a great early 70th birthday meal with 15 family and friends. Lovely food , plenty of it at reasonable prices.Many Thanks to all the staff. Will definitely be going back soon.
Went there for a funeral 'wake'. I found it to be a really nice, welcoming pub in an attractive area. I was a driver on the day so I did not drink but the service and food was excellent

We had a big family party and used the main function room. The staff were all lovely and very helpful. We ordered off the regular food menu - great quality and portion sizes. The venue was perfect. We all had a great day! Highly recommend 👍
Great food and beer selection. Lovely beer garden at the back. Child friendly. Food was very good quality and well priced. Sports on several televisions. Bar area for those just having a drink.
