Visited today for a Sunday roast for the first time. We didn't have a booked table but we were offered a table inside, which was perfect for us. Nice interesting decor, placed needed attention like the bench ripped on left of our table. Our table was very shaky and chairs slightly dirty. Garden looked great but super busy for out liking. In was quite peaceful and pleasant.
Drink menu was extensive, food menu obviously was more consistent on meat options. As vegetarian myself I felt wes restricted, I would love to see more options, just a personal opinion.
We had a starters, olives and bread were divine.
My meat eaters had the beef roast and they said it was she best they ever had so far, so a big compliment for the chef.
I had the pasta with peas, the cauliflower baked and the chips on the side, was good.
Obviously as a dessert lover I had the white chocolate ganesh and I honestly can say was amazing. Well done
Service was very attentive and polite.
Would definitely come back ,maybe on another day to try.
Beautiful interior 😍 Airy and spacious with skylight coming through. Fish and chips are spot on! We didn't expect to have such a nice experience here (from the outside it looks like an average local pub) definitely visit again 👍
Wasn't actally our first choice on the day but having tasted their bitter and had a delicious Sunday lunch it will be next time. They were fully booked but we managed to squeeze into a small side table and had a lovely time. Did I mention the excellent beer? We had mains and puds, both very good and all staff were very friendly. Great find.

My partner and I celebrated our engagement party here last weekend and couldn't have picked a better place. We often go to the pub to watch the rugby as well as for a nice evening drink. We have always loved the aesthetic of the venue and the atmosphere with it. We had booked the Camden Room upstairs and comfortably fit 40-45 people. We are super grateful to all the members of staff who helped us set up with tables, chairs and decorations. We particularly can't praise Olga enough for helping with creating the perfect room but also for her suggestions and ideas too! She went above and beyond to help us and couldn't have done more. Such a friendly approach from all staff, from the window cleaner in the morning when setting up the room, to the bar staff gone midnight who came to clean and tidy up the room. Music was played through the pub into the room, there was air con and of course the Rugby World Cup was on screen in the room (being Welsh and Irish this was a big deal). We were able to leave our decorations to collect the following morning which made a very relaxed exit that night. We were also able to bring our dog into the room when setting up and taking away our decorations. All our friends and family also commented on how perfect the room was and the service we recieved. We will continue to visit and shout home about the party we had that couldn't have been done without the help of your team! Thank you all so very much!
Out of Lockdown again. We went on one of our weekend walks and ended up here. Great food, which we earned by walking 4.5 miles there and back.
Back after 2 years. It's still one of my top 10 burgers of all time.
We booked a private room to celebrate my mother-in-law's birthday and Olga was so helpful and accommodating. She really went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. It was a lovely evening and we would definitely recommend the Bickley and Olga's services!

We celebrated our wedding reception at The Bickley Arms (Chislehurst). Alexandra and her team have been exceptional every step of the way. Alexandra showed real care, took on board all our requests and put forward some amazing ideas of her own. She went the extra mile to make our day truly special. We are especially grateful for the attention she gave to the dietary requirements of some of our guests (i.e. gluten-free, vegetarian...). The service her team delivered on the day was first-class and without fault. All the food was delicious and of top quality. It was an unforgettable day for us and our guests.
Solid, spacious and good-looking gastropub. Food was tasty and filling. Service was friendly and prompt. If you’re really hungry, I’d recommend the Bangers & Mash.
Lovely pub. Great food. Nice friendly staff. Prices are reasonable. Lots of seating, well spaced.
Great pub and atmosphere. We never ate just had drinks while we went from pub to pub. So much outdoor space, place in the summer must be so hard to get a table. Good selection of drinks.. Outdoor bar area so no need to go inside to order.
Sunday roasts worth every penny. Lovely roast lunch all different meats all very good. Nice plateful of delicious food. Decor lovely. Staff very professional and attentive. Parking easy. We would go back definitive. Thank you.
A very big "Thank You" to the team at The Bickley Arms for hosting our recent family get-together. They accommodated all 13 of us (plus a well behaved dog!) and made sure we were all well looked after. The food was lovely and the wine selection (and recommendations from the waitress) was excellent. We all had a fantastic evening.
Nice big pub with a decent lunch menu. I haddock n chips, the group had a mix of everything else. All were satisfied. The service was good too.
Good evening at The Bickley Arms (my home for 25 years). Great memories shared with my brothers, our wife's and two of my nephews. Food was good although from a fairly limited choice of 8 'mains', 2 were not available, which was a little disappointing. Drinks were fine but a limited choice of real ales. Overall, an enjoyable evening!
Great pub great service. Food was very good, tasty and plenty. They have a fantastic garden, unfortunately today weather was not that great.
We had a nice time, and we're going to come back.

Second visit to The Bickley Arms, our new favourite place. Perfect pub - beautiful garden, dog friendly, fantastic food and service. Have already rebooked for Friday lunchtime.
After a surly greeting we sat outside and ordered food and drink and it was all lovely. Good quality and lots of staff. It's not cheap, c. £24 ish for a roast but it's good and huge portions. They now have a frozen cocktails served in the bar outside with strawberry and passionfruit dacquiris. Good for couples, families, children and dogs welcome.
