Had a fantastic time at the Frogpool Manor Resaurant for my birthday. Fabulous company (my family of coarse) and the food was excellent. Tried to book for Christmas Day but fully booked.(it's a seven course meal) just as we'll go to think I could have eaten seven courses( would have had a good try lol) recommend this restaurant very warm and homely and very good food from starter to dessert x

Had a really good Sunday Dinner here today. Meat cooked to perfection with plenty of veggies on a side dish. Took our own wine with us and just paid £3.50'corkage that was a bonus itself. Waitress service very quick. A very friendly quaint restaurant. Hours of business has changed. Open from 6. To 11 on a Friday now. Longer service on a Sunday as well, now open till 7pm but check beforehand. Would recommend this cosy place and will definitely be visiting again with a larger party.

We had an absolutely delicious (and enormous!) afternoon tea yesterday! The sandwiches were great and offered a lovely variety. The scones were incredible and the cakes delicious.....and it was so nice to be given a cake box to take home any cakes we didn't eat (only because we were so full!) Such great value for money and such a lovely venue. Thank you for a lovely afternoon tea and we will be back x

Absolutely wonderful cream tea, so much given to us we had to have a doggy bag. Very friendly staff, nothing to much trouble and allways with a pleasant smile. We will be back without a doubt. Lunch next time I think.

Been before but not for a long time. Came with four friends for the first time. They loved it and they would defiantly come back. Food very good and a good selection of deserts, like spotty dick, treacle sponge pudding and many more.

Excellent home cooked traditional foods. Plenty of selections of all 3 courses if desired. Probably the best place to get a Sunday roast with generous portions and extremely good value for money. Its also bring your own alcohol with corkage at just £3.50 for wines, soft drinks are available. Staff are polite, professional and attentive. Great surroundings and there's parking available. Limited opening times in the week. Take away now available but best to give 24h notice for Sunday collections

Had a beautifully cooked and presented roast pork to die for. Menu was handwritten but filled with options. The others who I dined with were also impressed by the food. Quaint setting inside a converted stable with related memorabilia and furnishings aplenty. All in all, a lovely place for a Sunday lunch and perhaps more!

Amazing food, wonderful staff and a great atmosphere! The whole decoration is amazing and really adds to the mood. Had a sunday dinner with turkey and homemade cranberry sauce. My only nit pick would be the potatoes were a little hard (but that's just personal preference on my part and everyone else loved them, you could tell they were expertly cooked. Real homestyle!) SO happy with our visit. The best sunday dinner I've ever had! (Sorry mum and dad ha ha) Portions were perfect and they don't scrimp on meat! You get all of your potatoes, meat, stuffing, gravey and yorkshire pudding ext. (In the pic) on your plate and then they bring around extra dishes of veg so you can dish out as much of that as you want. If you want more than one type of meat it's only £2 extra for just as much as if it was a normal full plate! The pic doesn't do it justice. I wish I could take the chef home, the staff were so patient and took the time to speak to us about anything we asked. REMEMBER it's cash only here though! But they were still so amazing and didn't get upset or even ask us to move when one of us had to run to the cash machine! Also I think the pecan pie has changed my life, absolutely gorgeous! You have to try it 😍 5* and worth the price, which is a massive compliment considering I'm a cheapskate 🙈
