Lovely venue, food, service, menu, ambience. I have visited on numerous occasions and every time the welcome is the same and the food excellent.
My wife and I had a very enjoyable Saturday afternoon lunch here in August. We booked a table in advance but when we arrived it was still very quiet. By time we departed however it was beginning to get quite a lit busier.
The menu was superb with a good range of dishes. The staff are very efficient, friendly and attentive.
When the food arrived it was tasty and well presented. The lemon cheesecake with raspberry sorbet was particularly delicious.
Highly recommended.

Staff were friendly, efficient and warm. Service was great.
Food was frankly incredible. Roast beef was melt in the mouth, amazing veg, ice cream and pudding were perfect. No real criticisms.
Love the small dessert and coffee option, which felt tailor made for me.

Food was fantastic and had a range of gluten free options which is really nice to see, in particular they had other desserts aside from ice cream. Will definitely recommend and definitely be heading back there to try other food on the menu.
All the staff were amazing and understood about food intolerance as well as being friendly and professional.
Really nice place just opposite Chipstead rugby club. Food was excellent, especially the roasts. In addition to superbly cooked meat (I had the braised lamb) there was a good amount of vegetables too. The coffee is made from a proper barista style coffee machine and not an all in one coffee dispenser which was a nice end to the meal. There's also a selection of board games which I noticed too late! Would definitely recommend.
Great pub - very friendly and attentive staff, nicely presented plates and an extensive gluten free menu with lots of great options. We shared a few starters and dessert, and everyone loved their food. I had the GF chicken, ham and leek pie which tasted amazing - Definitely recommend if you’re in the area!

Lovely pub, well maintained & decorated. Spotless toilets, great service & great food but best of all were the friendly, efficient and happy staff. They worked well as a team & their genuine enthusiasm and pride was obvious. A fantastic evening - thank you. 10/10
Super Sunday lunch - the mixed roast was beef and pork. Served with all the trimmings. Absolutely delicious. As it was Father's Day, I even got a free pint of beer. Staff were friendly and efficient. Lunch was quite a treat for me. Recommended.
Lovely staff. Good selection of drinks. I haven't had food yet, but I will he back to try as the food looked lovely.
