Fantastic pub at the heart of the village. First time visiting, but won't be the last. Made to feel very welome
We popped in for a drink whilst in the area and despite it being a chain pub the place and the landlady had so much personality. The ale (Youngs when we visited) was kept well and a good selection of other beverages for the non ale drinkers amongst us. This is a cracking little find, food and drinks
Went in for birthday meal and drinks, had an amazing night, great food, great atmosphere, lots of laughs, very welcoming.
Delicious steak, hunters chicken just to name a couple.
Great food and service. A friendly pub with prompt service.
A marvellous welcome awaits all thirsty swordsmen at The Griffin. I've been living two hills over from here for the last 10 years but only just discovered the place. Very friendly staff and locals. Good booze and food at bargain prices. I was particularly impressed with them playing Motorhead as I f
Nice little pub but sadly no food
This is a lovely little pub in a very small sleepy village on the very edge of the Cotswolds. I have been going to this pub for years and it’s never really changed all that much, which is a good thing.
The beers are reasonably priced which is my favourite part and the meals are just good old pub gr
Very warm welcome, reasonably priced and tasty Sunday lunch. Dog friendly too. Would highly recommend.
Really busy pub in village offering a good range of food with great specials when I visited.
Good sized portions so you won't be hungry and certainly not a 'small portion on a big plate' venue.
Separate dining area away from main bar area.
Pub hosts quizzes / has TV screens for sporting events.
Visited for Sunday lunch.
Decent village pub with friendly staff serving good pub food and beer
Lovely little local pub serving decent food. Nothing too fancy but good quality, reasonably priced, and a friendly welcome.
If you are traveling on the A361 and want a bite to eat, it's worth popping in.
Spot on service from the staff. All Very friendly. It was late afternoon but they were happy to serve a fresh home cooked style Sunday lunch for 2 was the size to feed 4 , And tasted beautiful..A+++ for food staff and location
Thanks
Good fish & chips are served here plus ales are good too..
Very good staff very nice it was excellent.
WOW....the food was amazing great value for money the staff went above and beyond will definitely be recommending to family and family
Lovely pub food and friendly service
My fella and I arrived for dinner at the Griffin on Saturday night. It was a miserable, cold, rainy day which may have contributed to the quiet mood but that was exactly the mood we were looking for. It's a very small pub with low ceilings but has a very homey feel with a bookshelf and games corner
Awesome village boozer. Had a meal with the family in a lovely atmosphere. Can’t wait to use the amazing beer garden and outside bar in the Summer.
