Went on a 1/2 day bread making course here. Jane was an excellent teacher, the facilities were great. I'd 100% recommend the bakery and the cooking school!

We popped in for a piece of the bread pudding, it was delicious! In addition, I needed some tape for a parcel (having popped into the post office and finding none) The staff in the bakery couldn't be more helpful, thank you very much, your help was much appreciated.

I have bought today a chicked and chorizo pasty and a chocolate hazelnut croissant. It was absolutely delicious, if you haven't tried yet, it deserves an opportunity. Yummy yummy

Great day at the Weber Grills - UK barbecue course. Learnt a lot, ate even more! Steak, pork and beer can chicken was lovely with sweet potatoes and brocolli sides. Really enjoyed the mushroom risotto and chocolate molten puddings on the bbq too. Very friendly team, thank you.

We’ve been coming to Hobbs for a number of years to buy bread and the occasional treat. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and we love the Tetbury loaf, our usual. It’s so much nicer than supermarket bread! During the CV lockdowns, we were super grateful for Hobbs, as we’d walk to it in the mornings to grab a coffee and a loaf, as well as some pastries, if we fancied a treat. It was also great to have the refillable milk station and the frozen pizza bases (when flour got a bit scarce, with everyone making stuff at home!). Sometimes the sweet baked goods aren’t always amazing - the pastries can be a little chewy and occasionally, the cakes aren’t super flavourful. However, their doughnuts and brownies are absolutely amazing! We’ve even bought some of the brownies to have for dessert when people come over for dinner, they’re that good. Thanks for being such a lovely local bakery!

I ate bread. It was nice. In all seriousness, very nice. Except from the brownie which was too rich for my taste, everything is about a pound too expensive. Only slight nitpicks. Would buy again.

Great quality bakery. Lovely bread. Online kids bakery classes on Instagram are a massive hit too! At the high end of price range, but you seem to get what you pay for.

Had my birthday weekend in a house not far away. They made what has to be one of the best chocolate cakes I have ever had the pleasure of eating. A highlight and an awesome cake..thanks Hobbs

Good range of breads and pastries. Very friendly staff, but quite expensive and often have been out of stock for the bread I like, but managed to find an alternative.

The bread is nice and tasty but expensive so putting it out of reach of everyone to afford and enjoy and food like bread should be for everyone to enjoy
