We went as a party of 9 (adhering to the covid rules at the time) to celebrate a birthday. They offer a bottomless prosseco ploughman's which was brilliant, the staff were all really attentive and couldn't do enough, making us feel welcome from the minute we walked through the door. Would highly recommend it!

Great little pub, they've got Rattler cider on draught too. Nice seating area at the front and rear of the pub. Definitely worth a visit.

A pub like pubs used to be. Authentic traditional interior with large fireplace and a good range of drinks. Staff and customers are friendly and welcoming. Take care if your dog accompanies you, it may overdose on treats. A bit cramped for dining comfortably.

We had the best time. So welcoming and friendly. They were so funny; had us in absolute stitches. Such a great , funny afternoon. Went for Ploughman's and Prosecco, and the food was really lovely and the staff couldn't have been more welcoming, attentive and friendly. Definitely recommend!

A treasure of a place. We stopped in for only one drink while passing through the town. After peeking in we thought it looked great, like an old fashioned pub with big fireplaces, real ales, and every wall surface covered in something. We were right but what really sets this little place apart is the gorgeous garden. It's a long thin plot so not a big open space at the back but they've crammed in plants everywhere, there's shelter for dark days, colour everywhere. Such a nice environment and lovely staff. The other patrons seemed to be enjoying the food served and the beer was good too.

Absolutely love this place. Staff are friendly, and always welcoming. Food is fantastic, and great value. Dogs are allowed in, and they even cooked him a sausage, and gave him dog biscuits. They go above and beyond. Now its mine, my partners and sons regular 😁

Family meal. 15 of us took the upstairs for a Sunday lunch. The pub was absolutely packed, yet the service was outstanding. All 15 plates came out the same, brimming with food, super tasty and lots and lots of gravy. Pudding was a treat. I am amazed they got every plate so perfect given how busy the pub was. Well done to the whole team!

My friend and I went to the Gin Bar upstairs which we found dead friendly. The choice of gin was unreal and the place itself looked dead cute and quirky. We will definitely be returning!
