Visited on a Tuesday and Smiths was busy, it's not a cheap evening but was worth every penny.
All the staff were friendly, but professional and efficient.
The atmosphere were just right, warm welcome, not sitting close to other customers, perfectly for a relaxing experience.

Wonderful seafood and fish. Smiths is definitely a place for a special treat and there is a wide selection for non-fish lovers. The hardest part was deciding what to order. Service was also faultless. I won’t leave it as long until my next visit.
Came here for my birthday and what a find - a high end & excellent seafood restaurant in Ongar which is in deepest Essex as far as I am concerned. Our experience at Smiths restaurant was fantastic for a special anniversary. Great team of serving/bar staff/front of house and amazing choice of food. Allergies were catered for with a great importance for which I was very grateful for. Food was wonderful!
