I must say, I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional quality of the food and the outstanding customer service at this pub. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction and actively sought feedback from us.
The food was simply exceptional. Each dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. My personal favourite was the chilli which was absolutely excellent. The menu also offers mouthwatering desserts such as baked cheese cake, sticky toffee pudding and apple & pear crumble which we had the pleasure of trying. The crumble was delectable.
Without a doubt, I highly recommend this pub/restaurant. The combination of excellent food, superb service, and delightful ambiance make it a must-visit establishment, and dog friendly, Ruby out Jack Russell got treats and water and lots of fuss.

We felt that the whole team at the Stag constantly looked after us & our guests and we honestly couldn’t ask for more. We had a wonderful day and that’s all thanks to them!

Have been here twice now and each time has been a delight. The staff are extremely nice, friendly and efficient. The food was served hot and was very tasty and filling.

I think we’ve found our new favourite roast and a great midway point to meet family!
Quite a last minute impromptu phone call and we were squeezed in for a Sunday Roast.
Our greeting was warm and friendly and this continued with the service throughout.
The food was sublime, definitely the best roast we’ve had in a long time.

We had our engagement party in the marquee at The Stag. It was excellent. The food, staff and venue were all fantastic. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and were always on hand to help. Great communication in the lead up to our party which made the day run super smooth. A brilliant day!
Came for a wake, ample parking and lovely garden, owner seems like a lovely guy, but food was sparse for 60 people,bar service was abrupt and the glass collectors complained at me for saying thank you more than once.
Has a lovely play area and it seems friendly but just a few reasons as to why I wouldn't return.
Had the most wonderful Sunday roast here. It was a plate full of well cooked food served in a lovely old pub.
Wonderful family friendly pub. We had a lovely dinner and the kids really enjoyed themselves. Really nice family evening ❤️
It's a nice gaff but I have to say we went with the kids and the £1 toy machines outside by the play area are very annoying because the kids age 2 or 3 just think it's a game and don't understand it cost money and just want loads of toys..in the end my 3 year old just threw a tantrum because he wanted toys from the machine. Probably an issue for a lot of parents. They should remove the machines. Parents will stop going with their kids to avoid it
