Really fantastic meal here. Got the cheddar soufflé, pea risotto, fish & chips, and sticky toffee pudding. Each dish was better than the last, and was some of the best food we had on our trip. Sticky toffee pudding was gone in probably under a minute even though we were stuffed when it came out -it

There is no country side trip if we don’t have a stop at the Chequers. Always try to ask what are the “today’s specials.” However I always make sure to order the liver with mashed potatoes. So tender and juicy.
