Lovely food. Best food I've had in a pub for years.
What a lovely little pub! Had a big family meal and even though they're small they sat us on a few tables and catered warmly to us. The pub itself it beautifully set with plants outside and a cute little garden. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and the food....well that was lovely and very w
Stopped in for a pint and a dish of ice cream with my daughter. This is a beautiful country pub and although we did not eat all of the food we observed looked excellent. They have a cozy area surrounding the fireplace with games, books and nice sofa - exactly the place you want to find on a chilly
This old pub has been beautifully restored by the new owners to give a completely new lease of life. We visited yesterday and had a fantastic time there. The Food & Drink offering was top drawer and well priced, a brilliant Chef to boot and the friendly welcome by Liam in the bar could put most othe
The food was excellent. Homemade steak and ale pie that melted in your mouth. Locally made sausages that were all meat. Staff very helpful and friendly. We ll be back very soon now we've found it. A little gem
Great little venue with a big punch 🥊
Just had Sunday lunch here, the staff are lovely and friendly, helpful and always with a smile. Beautifully restored with a light bright touch to the inside and out. Nothing seems too much trouble, the food is heavenly, so lovingly presented wonderful flavours but very generous portions, Buffalo wi
This is a wonderful and homely village pub and the owners and bar manager are welcoming. I have enjoyed numerous visits for bar snacks, full meals and simply drinks; I have never been disappointed. The menu and service are of an extremely high standard. I shall be visiting when I next return to the
The pub is very cosy and the staff was giving a warm welcome. Food was superb and the prices are reasonable. The room was clean and everything felt quality. Over all my visit was well above expectations
Lovely room and en-suite. Alex and Sarah made us feel very welcome and we had an enjoyable meal in the evening. A great pub on the outside of the village and ideally placed for exploring the Cotswolds.
Lovely place to stay. The staff were really friendly, our room was clean and nice and private. We also ate in the pub which offers great meals. The accommodation is also ideally located for getting to other places.
Stayed in Middle Cottage for the weekend and it was lovely. Comfy beds , great shower and spotlessly clean. Pub is very handy being right next door and the food and service were really good. All in all a real find and great location for exploring Cotswolds. We will be back
A great little local pub. Food is of a high standard but not too fancy. And the bar is cosy and has some good beers on. Sunday roasts look excellent but yet to have opportunity to try.
Beautiful authentic pub, very nicely decorated. Great pies, very nice staff. Charming little village. Local beers and products. Sadly we only discovered it the last day of our holliday.
Lovely meal, friendly staff. Would recommend the home made pie. Shame there was only one left as we had to share! Overall a good village pub, ideal for a stop after a cotswold walk
Great atmosphere, lovely beer and one of the best steaks I've ever had! Wish I lived nearby so I could enjoy this place more often! Definitely would recommend!!
This place is a total find at the start of a 5mile loop to the Rollright stones!!! Cosy pub, great friendly atmosphere, good food but not over “cordon blue” fancy. Cotswolds stone with funky decor touches. Family & dog friendly. And trust me you need to try the sticky toffee pudding!
Simply but very tastefully renovated, unpretentious, great value, friendly - just what a local village inn should be and with the quintessential Cotswold charm for visitors too. Enjoyed Sunday lunch @ £15 for 2 courses.....and looking forward to their Wednesday night special.....!!
I had a lovely overnight stay at Salford Inn. Beautiful room with lovely bathroom and lovely continental breakfast in the room. Really cosy. Dinner at the pub was fresh, hot and tasty. Would highly recommend. Celina
