A beautiful culinary gem in cotswold! Perfect restaurant for dinner with the family, dinner after a long day out or dinner date. It's just lovely! All the food we ordered were superb. The ladies serving were nice and courteous too. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Landed at boxing hare a bit earlier than our reservation.
Wasn’t a problem and was given a table immediately.

The bavette steak felt like it was missing some flavour

Excellent lunch. Had the bavette steak fries, was excellent -- great cook on the steak, and very good fries. The red wine jus was great on the side. Chocolate fondant dessert was good also. Good service too
Friendly and helpful staff and good service.
The menu has a good selection of different dishes, couple of pub favourites in there. Food was very nice, the cheese soufflé was superb, and I had a very well cooked duck leg etc after.
I wasn't drinking alcohol so 2 courses and a soft drink was about £40

Really lovely pub, the food was some of the nicest food I've had in England having been here 1 year. The steak and burgers were top notch. Also had the sticky ribs to start, I was too full for a dessert but no doubt would have been blown away by that too. Thanks!

Anybody complaining about this place was definitely having an off day. Or ordered the cheapest on the menu and expected Mechlin star. Food, service and atmosphere made it a complete experience. Very welcoming owners and staff
Went for a drink only but also had delicious sorbet ice cream! Stayed outside, wonderful day. The views of the countryside are stunning. Staff and service were kind, fast, great. Lovely atmosphere.

A wonderful discovery and a wonderful welcome! A belated BIG thank you for a super special meal on Mother's Day weekend. The food was superb and you did everything to make this a most memorable occasion. It was our first visit and we'll be back. Very much looking forward to visiting again soon!

My partner and I have visited on various occasions over the past few years and The Boxing Hare never disappoints. The food is always exceptional and the staff are outstanding. We recommend this place to everyone we know and will continue to return for (hopefully) many years to come!
What a find! A friend recommended this place so we booked as we were in the area today. The staff were very welcoming and the atmosphere was really nice. I had scallops followed by the lamb and can honestly say it was one of the best meals that I have had in a long time. Great presentation and beaut
