A lovely family visit on a Sunday afternoon. I enjoyed their pasta starter. My son had their Sunday roast and the children's meals were very good, too. We sat in the beer garden. Lovely place. Nice staff and great food.

Stayed overnight and could not fault anything. Room was lovely, dined in the restaurant in the evening, even though we didn't book till late and the food was very nice. Breakfast was really lovely and all of the staff there were wonderful, especially Ben. Would definitely recommend

Character pub/restaurant with rooms, in a picturesque Cotswolds town. Good location Dined here as a group, food was v good. Staff where really helpful and attentive. Local beer as well Have previously stayed and the rooms are excellent. There is a tucked away outside terrace, worth looking for. Definitely a pub that ticks all the boxes

Really good pub food: the pork stake and the chicken and mushroom pie were really good. The pub has really good decor and character. The service was mixed. The young boy and girl who took our order and brought our food were great. The man at the bar where we got our drinks was just not very friendly... just grumpy and condescending. It's a pity since the rest was great. I'll still give you 5 stars, but please send him to some customer service lessons!

Had a wonderful walk-in dining service experience - thanks to very kind staff at the Eight Bell Inn. The table I was offered was appropriate, considering how busy it was. The Lamb shank was nicely presented and had good choice of condiments. Beverage offering had great variety to choose from.

We didn't stay here we only ate on two evenings and I'd love to visit Chippen campden again to eat here. Delicious 😋 in season tasty food. Real food! Staff were just so accommodating. We sat in the window seat, and then inside near the kitchen on the 2nd night. Top class inn for scrumptious food.

Excellence in the Cotswolds Incredible Sunday Vegetarian Roast Dinner! Everyone in the town says to eat here, and I'm so glad we did. The Big 3s: Service: pleasant, deft whilst busy, attentive to being professional but not a bit over that, adequate; many rushing around in madness state Ambience: busy, fun, happening, locals and tourists Food: 9.5 out of 10 for tasty, creative, incredible vegetarian on a Sunday roast with a smile and TASTE! thank you!.....just add some spinach or asparagus....(something green)

The Eight Bells is my favourite pub in the town. The staff are all incredibly friendly and professional and make you feel welcome as soon as you enter. The pub is cozy and offers an extensive selection of proper ales, most of which are from the local area. The restaurant is fantastic with a delightful menu with options to suit most tastes. Every dish we had was wonderful, from the beef tartare, to the steak, to the Caesar salad, and the creme brûlée dessert. If you’re in Chipping Campden then you have to visit the Eight Bells!

We stayed here for three days in May. The staff were friendly and attentive and the breakfast was great. There is also a pub and restaurant which is also excellent. The town of Chipping Camden is a beautiful town and a great place to explore the Cotswolds. Would love to come back here again!

Lovely pub serving delicious food with friendly service. I had the asparagus and mousse Which was divine, followed by the roast pork which was out of the top draw, oh and the dry cider went down very nicely.

The Eight Bells in Chipping Campden…… My wife and I stayed for three nights in this lovely 14th century Cotswold Inn. We were so glad we booked up both the room and the restaurant back in November 2022 feeling that had we left it any later we would not have got in. The rooms with wide screen TV are superb, very clean and beds very comfortable. Bottled water replenished daily and plenty of tea and coffee. The Inn is very quaint and has an excellent selection of ales. We dined each night in the restaurant and the menu very good and food superbly cooked and presented, really was of the highest quality. We agreed the fish and chips were the best we had tasted in the UK – the puddings were superb, the ‘English’ breakfast was great!! Service was of the highest level and we were looked after by very efficient and friendly staff. We would certainly book up next time we are in the Cotswolds – thoroughly recommended. Thanks to all at the Eight Bells for a lovely stay!!

Stopped over for dinner. It was tops. Excellent service and excellent food. If you're in Chipping Campden and looking for a excellent pub for a few pints or pub dinner, can't go wrong here I reckon.

We ate twice in a week at the Eight Bells and loved it. The food was fantastic, friendly staff, nice ambience in the pub side and dining room side. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend it, and we booked ahead to make sure we had a table, as it was popular. Great place!
