Amazing owner, friendly pub, and from what I see amazing food! South African run and themed bar so feels like home😊 and biltong aswell as droewors being sold! Owner went above and beyond with service. Thank you Roger!
We were bike packing through the chiltern hills and decided to stop here for a late lunch on a Saturday. The food was so delicious. I had the halloumi burger and it was great. Homemade relish, healthy portion of halloumi and the burger bun stole the show for me. It was so fluffy and light - also hom
Rolled Roast Pork Belly Sunday lunch, to takeaway. Absolutely delicious. Highly recommended! Didn't even need a quick reheat. Lady answering the phone for orders and bringing out the food is just lovely. Thank you!
From the outside, it doesnt look much and looks abit meh and dated BUT the food...oh the food is SO good!! Service was great, good was good, what more couls you want?!
Friendly pub, with an amazing Chinese takeaway restaurant, that will serve you at your table if you choose.
We pulled up here with two young girls last minute on a Friday tea time looking for something to eat. We arrived to a warm welcome by the host, and the whole village pretty much! The food was good and the waiting staff were super friendly and accommodating.
Fantastic pub with great interior decor. Food is absolutely gorgeous and the staff and especially the owner are absolutely fabulous. (Thanks once again for the giraffe 🦒 😄) definitely recommended if you're in the area 👍
Great atmosphere, well kept beer, big screen TV for the important matches, what more could you want?
Great pub for lunch. 3 of us came for lunch today and did the annoying thing of ordering / paying separately. Clear communication between front of house and the kitchen meant that our meals all came out very quickly and at the same time. Very nice, well cooked, homemade food and friendly staff. Im y
Visited on a Thursday evening. Group of four. Very warm and friendly. Good choice of beers, spirits and gins. Friendly staff. Amazing burgers especially the pork belly burger. The chocolate brownie is highly recommended for dessert. Will definitely visit again.
This place is such a find, the food is fantastic! Plenty of Pizzas and burgers to choose from and the waffles are amazing. Saw that they are doing fish and chips on a Wednesday, will definitely pay them another visit. Kelly was also a great host, thank you for a lovely meal.
Staff has always been friendly & smiling whenever we visited. Good quality food, the ribs were well cooked and the beef burger was juicy. Dogs welcome, which is a bonus for us and there were access to water bowls.
Myself & friend visited for some food prior to our walk / camp in the local area. The staff were fantastic & the pizza was honestly the best I’ve had in the UK. Proper little gem of a place & will definitely return!
Great lil spot. Lovey owner and great kitchen. If I’m ever in the area will try to come back.
We recently moved into the area and had heard good things about this pub. We went there for food and drinks. Our server Kelly made the night run so smooth and had an amazing way with all the customers. Thoroughly impressed with both the food and especially the serice. I can see this pub being a regu
The best part about this pub is the staff! My family moved to Chinnor only 6 months ago and I have never met such a lovely group of caring staff. Not to mention their incredible cook who has kept us well fed through renovating our house. 5 stars doesn't even start to represent the service we have re
