A nice tea shop with a friendly server.
We only had hot drinks, though one of us had a toasted teacake which was very nice. They also had a good selection of cakes.
An adorable little cafe if you’re passing through or waiting for a train. I cannot fault the staff - they were so kind and polite (and apologetic as things got unexpectedly busy and drinks were delayed).
I would definitely visit again if I was in the area.
Fantastic little tea room. I'm not one for writing reviews, but felt this place really deserved one. Very busy when we arrived, we were lucky to get some comfy chairs in the window. Amazing bacon bap with lovely thick tasty bacon from the local butcher, huge mug of delicious black coffee, very hap
Amazing selection of food (good breakfast, lovely selection of salads as many more in big portion) and desserts at very good price! I love the vintage decoration inside and my favourite is cream tea which they always serve in nice crockery. And always superb service here. Family friendly as well and
Lovely tea room - good food, friendly welcome and a quirky selection of local crafts. Also an interesting, albeit small, display of historical photographs of Chinley. Definitely will be returning.
We had an excellent lunch at Tea on the Green today. Great choice on the menu. Food was served promptly despite the cafe being full. It was delicious and very good value for money.
We dropped in for lunch today and were not disappointed. The decor is welcoming and tasteful, the service friendly and cheerful and the food delicious! The menu was great and the drinks choice was plentiful. I loved the fact that you could have a half sandwich along with a bowl of delicious homemade
Called into this cafe follow a hike today. What a lovely little cafe. Such a friendly welcome and great menu. The staff were lovely and didn't mind answering questions about the village. They also sell some lovely local crafts. Really enjoyed my iced coffe and warm fruit scone. Think we will be back
Great non-greasy breakfast and great prices! £4.50 for a small breakfast and £2.50 for a latte for a bit of insight. Yummy sausages and bread! Would recommend!
Really lovely tea shop with very helpful staff. I think the carrot cake was marginally better than the ginger cake but both were superb accompaniments to the pot of tea and great cappuccino. Dog friendly with water and tasty treats for 4 legged visitors and the lady offered to refill our water bottl
Excellent food, especially the bacon and sausage sandwiches. The kids meal with SALAD was hugely enjoyed and now our daughter wants to replicate the salad at home! Service did feel slow over prime-time lunch 12-13.30 on a Saturday.
Extremely clean with Lovely staff and a friendly welcome there is a wide choice of excellent home cooked fresh quality food highly recommend
A really lovely tea room with friendly staff. The choice of cakes was so good that we couldn’t decide, so we tried both the Lime & Courgette Cake and the Carrot Cake which were both great, AND took an Oreo brownie to enjoy at home which was incredible!
We Just came across this cute little place by chance, we don’t often write reviews but on this occasion we felt this place deserves to be highly recommended the food choices were very acceptable along with the prices also the freshness and quality was also outstanding .we will definitely visit again
What a lovely quaint little place! Everyone is so friendly and the “build a breakfast” was just gorgeous!! Wish I could come here every single day, the food was just to die for!
What a great place (hidden gem in a sleepy village ) immaculately clean and quality food and service spot on
What a delightful place to have breakfast whilst I was waiting for a train and watching it rain. And such a lovely young lady serving ☺️As a footnote, the toilets are absolutely spotless 👍
