My go to restaurant when I want to entertain my children with a culinary display and good food. Great fun, great atmosphere. Definitely stick around for the flaming ice cream!
A little expensive, but you get a fantastic experience at the chefs table. The food was excellent, service was first class and friendly. It's an original theme and quite different.
Great experience, great food, and good staff. 100% would come back. However it's just a little expensive.
Not cheap but you get what you pay for, service was excellent, atmosphere was amazing and food was great.
We ordered from the set menu and just shared everything but there is an a la carte menu as well.

We travelled down from Wakefield to visit Hokkaido as it was out favourite restaurant before they moved. Food was just as good as we remembered and the hospitality was second to non. Can see you making it an annual visit. Thank you Ching and staff
Honestly one of the tastiest food I've ever had in any restaurant so I'm definitely going back soon just to be sure my experience wasn't a one-off. Went on Valentine's day and the atmosphere was cosy, the setting was excellent and service was fantastic.
They were super accommodating for our sons 7th birthday! The food was amazing, the teppanyaki was entertaining and the service was excellent. Have told so many people about it already, will be back!

Absolutely superb meal, best Japanese food we have eaten outside of Japan. Can’t recommend highly enough, try the fantastic soft shell crab and beautiful sushi. The main course beef wrap was perfect.

Constructive feedback would be to enhance the non alcoholic drinks options. Even a 0% beer would be a great start.
This is the best Japanese restaurant for miles. If you love or you have never experienced Japanese cuisine you have to come here. Staff are excellent, food is fairly priced and delicious. Book with confidence. We will return many times for the foreseeable future.
Wow! Had a fabulous meal last night at Hokkaido. The whole experience was brilliant. Fantastic food, lovely friend staff, amazing chef. You won’t be disappointed, great dining experience!
We arrived in a empty restaurant with low expectations but actually was delicious, i toom the sushi combo whichi was absolutely delicious and my friends ordered Donburi with chicken and prawn very good as well, highly recommend.
It was just fabulous! No exaggeration. Went on a Tuesday evening, i took menu number one, mainly meat related.
The service was perfect. Not too mhch around you, but still being cautious about your glass being empty, cleaning around when necessary. Food was fresh, amazingly seasoned, cooked perfectly
