Had fabulous evening here for friend's birthday. Food, service, entertainment, prices all very good. Best liver and bacon ever, huge portion (see photo). Can't wait to go back!
2nd time dining at The Courtyard food was delicious freshly cooked, staff friendly and lovely relaxed atmosphere. Andrew and his mum Beverley and of course the Italian waiter Tony made it great with very attentive service. Reasonable rates with large portion sized meals. Thanks guys we will be returning. Had a lovely meal for my in-laws Golden Wedding anniversary. Staff couldn't have done more for us and were very accommodating. The restaurant was busy and staff were all hands to the pumps. Drinks took a while to be ordered but the quality off the food took away any frustration. Am booking back in for my 40th later this year.
Food was excellent. My kids and I took my wife here for mothers day (our second visit since it opened a few weeks ago, as it was so nice the first time around). Drinks were reasonably priced and they kindly brought free glass of bubbles for my wife as her special day.
I spoke with the owner and his mother, who were both very nice. The decor is tastefully done and an improvement on the Godots style (though Godots was fine too!).
Seeing the number of 1* reviews on here I was really surprised...until I noticed how many of them had no picture and only one review to their name. Can't help but wonder if they are friends and family of other local independent restaurants hoping to damage this one. Shame.

Went for a bite to eat with family. Waitress was fabulous, very friendly and helpful without being too much. Food was beautiful, we were very pleasantly surprised! All in all a fab experience
The Mrs and I have been here now on several occasions and it's a great place to grab amazing food at very reasonable prices. The vibe in here is always great as well the service.
No negative feedback at all in my opinion.
Had a cheeseboard with fillet steak, mix of cheeses, peppercorn sauce, cranberry sauce and stilton sauce, with salad, carrots and celery sticks - not on the menu, you have to ask for it - amazing!
Had a great night in here with the girls. Food was lovely, really nice atmosphere. Will be returning!
I' m an italian guy that live here in London. A lot of places i visited and almost all offer italian food, but only a fer restaurants cook really italian food and Godot's Bistro is one of these.
When here today for Mother's Day with my 2 sons , the food was amazing and the staff couldn't b any more pleasant .. will definitely be returning 😄
Went here for dinner with my parents as they were visiting from America. Friendly staff and atmosphere made it a great evening out.
