Collected a takeaway order and received a very friendly welcome and chat from staff. The restaurant is well set out with smaller tables and a large circular booth seating, with a convivial atmosphere - there appeared to be lots of regular diners. The food was very tasty and I would like to dine in, next time we visit.

I was pleasantly surprised by the Spice Station food and service. I tried them out when the food at my usual Indian takeaway became awful and couldn't get over how tasty their food was in comparison. I really liked the ease of ordering online. The clarity of their website is certainly one of the best I've used. It will hold no fear for those worried about online ordering! Their food is tasty, with no bland or overspiced offerings (so far), just nicely balanced flavours, presented well, and delivered quickly. The staff are incredibly helpful, friendly, and attentive, which helps to make the atmosphere in the restaurant so welcoming. I couldn't believe how tender the lamb was in my Jalfrezi, I'll definitely be ordering that again! If you're looking for an Indian restaurant, either eat in or take away, you won't be disappointed with The Spice Station!

Just opposite North chingford train bus and cab terminal and with free street parking around the corner, it is well served by transport. A modern restaurant setting not your traditional decor for an Indian restaurant with a ground and upper floor space. The staff are attentive and entertaining, the food is good, some dishes come with rice others you will need to get a side order. There were nine of us we shared starters and some side dishes and naans plus beer and wine it came to around £26 a head. So good value .

Good service. The food was really nice. My good friend was having an improvised stag evening. We were quite lucky that it wasn't too busy, and they were able to accommodate all 11 of us. The food was superb, and the service was fast and well timed. I wasn't sure what dish to order, but I was able to just tell the waiter what I liked and he gave me a great recommendation. The food looked and tasted beautiful. Would highly recommend 👌🏼

I went to this restaurant for a can of diet coke and keema naan when I went in there there was this waiter standing there the whole restaurant was empty it was late at night. He stared at me very aggressively and then he gave me a glass of coke saying it was £2 when I asked for a 80p can of coke. He carried on staring at me rudely. My father had been in the restaurant business over 20 years and I never approached a customer in this manner. I then walked out of the restaurant without ordering anything. That same waiter kept on staring at me as I was getting into my car to drive home as I had worked all day. I then blasted my horn at him and drove off. I was parked on Garfield road talking to my friend on the phone when suddenly 2 cars blocked me in. It was that waiter and the other staff who work there. My window was open and that waiter had a long metal spanner in his hands, I immediately closed my car window and dialled 999 and told them I was barricaded by 2 cars. The waiter than tried breaking into my car by pulling my door handle. The other staff then started taking my photo with there smart phone. One of the waiters started saying, "You think we don't know anything" in Bengali as I speak the same language as them and I am from the same ethnicity. I said, look sorry for blasting the horn. A lady was looking out the window through her house. The waiter started saying, take his photo call the police, that ladies gonna call the police. I said to the owner the other waiter was rude, he said the waiter was his uncle, he then threatened me saying we can call more people. They left and 10 minutes later police arrived, I explained to the police what happened, they said I can make a allegation that the waiter confronted me with a metal spanner but it will be his word against my word. The officer then said he'll go and talk to the staff in the restauraunt. Absolutely disgusting, 7 employees ganging up on someone with a metal spanner. He needs a spanner, cant fight with his fists even though he had all his friends with him.<br/><br/>What a cowardly human being needs a spanner and bullying 1 person because he's scared. Anyone reading this review I have written this review with integrity and honesty if you are humane don't go to this restaurant go somewhere else please. In fact I know the restaurant owner in Vujon Indian restaurant 2 doors away, the owner has known me for 10 years and the staff know me, they treat me with manners and respect.<br/><br/>They should get a zero star rating. For everyone's reference the waiter who confronted me had a trimmed beard, was bald and he drives a black Mercedes. He looked like he was 40 odd years old. I'm a lot younger than him I'm in my 30's, what a coward, nasty man needs 7 employees and a metal spanner to confront someone. The waiter maybe was a bit queer that's why he was staring at me like that. I was just going about minding my own business not looking for trouble. Just by the look of him, his size, strength and age I know he couldn't do nothing to me or anyone, what an IDIOT! Please do me a favour and go to Vujon or the other Indian restaurants down the road ie bengal brasserie.

I'm a regular at Spice Station, and can honestly say it's the best Indian Restaurant I've been to. The food is always very tasty, and there's lots of choice. If you want really hot, they'll do it, just ask. Similarly, if you just want flavoursome food that's well prepared then they have that as well. The staff are very welcoming and attentive, and the owner is a genuinely nice guy. It's clean plates all round when my friends and I call in on a Friday evening. What more do you need?

We drove around on a Saturday night looking for a post lockdown dinner and chose Spice Station opposite the Chingford Overground Station. It was a real find,welcoming,good social distancing and really good food. What's not to like! The naan and popadums are to die for. . 2/3 full by 7pm,and few places open outside N. Chingford,so very pleased.
