I have been a returning customer for many years, as the Chilworth Arms always provides a delightful experience! Booked to celebrate our engagement and was surprised with a lovely bottle of bubbly, seating next to the fire- such a perfect meal together and everyone made it feel special. Thank you so much - food was incredible also.
It was great. I came here two nights in a row. First night I sat in the bar, and second night in the restaurant with full service. Enjoyed both nights immensely. Jordan served me Sunday evening and did a great job of servicing my needs.

Didn't take the servers name but he was very good and offered simple things like having water with our meals and asked if we had any allergies or dietary requirements.

First time here had a early sitting and in no time the place is packed it has a nice warm atmosphere service was realy good not so good with communication to the kitchen the menu had been printed off wrongly which was a shame has the chef special looked great but the they took chicken balinotine off
Had a lovely meal - food excellent & well cooked, service excellent (Freya); and it was really nice to be sat not on top of other diners - nice space between tables so you weren’t listening to other conversations. Excellent choice of food for vegetarians as well which is lacking in some pubs. Will
This was our first visit. We went for my boyfriend's birthday and it was lovely. Freya was great, and helped me with questions regarding my dairy intolerance. The food was lovely. We'd definitely come here again!
Delicious late lunch x 2 people. Highly recommend. I had the fishcakes husband had the gammon, both perfectly cooked, except the chips with the gammon slightly overcooked. Good pleasant service.

We have just tried the new ‘small plates’ menu - out today. Plenty for the 2 of us, and great value at £15.00 for three dishes. Beef rib croquettes and dauphinois chips with Parmesan were particularly nice. Looking forward to trying some of the other options next time. Not forgetting the good servic
We’ve just had the most amazing Mothers Day 3 course meal at The Chilworth Arms. Our waitress Lily was lovely…very polite, attentive and smiley, just brilliant! The food was to die for. Great menu and lots of choice, just gorgeous! Thank you Lily and The Chilworth Arms for making my Mothers Day
Modern contemporary decor, very busy even on a rainy Tuesday night. Lots of wealthy customers which is good as the food is on the slightly higher end of good.
Good choice on the menu, starters, sides, mains, desserts and shine sharers.
When busy service can be slow, 20 mins+.
